Shine Nails Lounge — Attraction in Ashburn

I am BEYOND disappointed and upset. I am 8 months pregnant and went to go do something nice for myself and got dipped powdered nails elsewhere and they turned out beautifully. I picked dipped powdered nails because they are supposed to be easy to get taken off and don’t ruin your nails. So when it was time to get them removed, I decided to go across the street to this nail salon to get them removed. She quoted me $10 which I figured was fair. She sat me down and started ripping them off. I thought “this is weird..” but didn’t want to say anything until the third nail in when she ripped my whole real nail off causing it to bleed. She said sorry and went to continue with the other nails. I stopped her and said “don’t you guys soak them or something.” She said it would take more time... which I was MORE than okay with if that meant not ripping my nails off. When she was finally done, she sent me to the front to pay. Mind you, she had to GLUE my nail down because she ripped it off and is still charging me the $10. I know it’s not much money.... but they ruined my nails. Now, I can’t even get my nails done before the baby is born because it will rip the rest of this nail off. I am currently sitting in the car crying (mind you, I’m 8 months pregnant) while writing this. I will NEVER be back to this place again. I would spend your money elsewhere. I had a great experience at Nail design. This was my second visit and I am sure that I won’t be going to any other nail salon. Nina at Nail design is an expert at what they do. She provided a great service during my last visit on the holiday season. For my manicure, I got a French with red and Nina executed the style perfectly. I also got a face wax done and a pedicure. Nina made sure that I was comfortable during the face waxing. The pedicure was simply perfection. The technique used in spa pedicure was so great that I felt relaxed for the following days. She also offered me with a hot chocolate and it snowed in that morning. So, it was a perfect time spent at the perfect place for me. Believe me, I am not exaggerating. They are the best in the area. I had a great relaxing time at the Nail Design. I will surely be back. Thank you!

Update: I am still going to Shine Nails Lounge and I am more than happy to see my new nails every time. They deliver the design I want every time. I am a very happy customer and will be going here every time I want to get my nails done.

After 23 years with same nail salon since high school. I stopped going due to cleanliness and needed to find new nail place. I was scared to try something new since . I had few bad experiences at my old one and nervous that I won’t be able to find someone who can do my nails up to my standards . Cleanliness is super important to me and I wanted a place that was close to my house as well. After searching for new nail salon , few failed ones along the way , I came across nail design . Nina did my full set and my pedicure I was extremely happy and impressed with her. she listen and she did exactly what I wanted and sometimes that’s hard to fine , also she works fast and I have littles at home and the hubby can only watch them for short period time due to work and I was in and out that was also important to me . If you’re looking for new nail spot , u can’t go wrong with nail design and Nina is your girl. They also just renovated the place and renamed it to shine nails and lounge and the place is beautiful.
