The Gold Shop — Attraction in North Augusta

I went to The Gold Shop and I purchased a rope necklace it was too big for my neck but they had no problem customizing the necklace for me they made me a bracelet out of the extra large necklace I've never had a jewelry store do that before. When I came back to pick up my necklace & bracelet I brought in some miscellaneous gold that were very special to me I wanted a charm for my necklace; it was a link of my now deceased father's bracelet, a piece of a ring my spouse gave me that had been broken, a necklace charm from my mother, then 2 rings that my parents bought for me when I was 16 & another ring with diamonds. I did not want to get rid of them but some of these pieces could not be wearn in the way that they use to be.I wanted to preserve them and since they had customized my necklace I asked him if they could melt down all of this gold that meant a lot to me and without hesitation they said Yes.So I picked out a large nugget mold not quite sure how it would turn out; to my amazement it was flawless! they had to make a large bale for this charm. I am not a person who shows their emotions however when I picked up the charm put it on the necklace I was truly moved by the workmanship it brought me to tears I really could not express how much I loved this charm.The diamonds were placed perfectly; now I can preserve the memories of these pieces in a stunning nugget gold with diamonds charm that can now be passed down to family members as a family heirloom. I have worked with the gold shop for about 7 years now. I have always been met with smiles, engaging conversation, expert advice and an great product at a competitive price point. I've purchased two weddings sets, upgrading my wife for our 5 year and 10 year anniversary. We brought in gold we no longer wore and had it melted and made into two more custom rings.
