When you take your phone to a place like uBreakiFix, you expect it to come back better than you left it. That was not my experience. I entrusted uBreakiFix in Emory Pointe with a repair to the back glass lens of my iPhone 12 Pro. It had a small hairline crack but no puncture or damage to the actual lens itself due to a drop. The photos were actually pretty good. Rather than open the phone and replace the glass element the proper way, the representative told me that they cracked out the glass to get it out so they could put on the new one. This is very risky and can cause damage to the camera itself. It's the lazy way to fix it. I would have attempted the repair myself but wanted to bring it to a professional knowing the damage I could cause. I felt I could trust them. Anyway, after taking the phone outside under the sun, sure enough, I noticed a crack in the glass element of the camera and pictures are worse than when I brought it in. I brought the phone right back, and after a very whispery conversation in the back, the representative came out to tell me that it's not their fault and the "burden of proof" is on me. The chip was not there before and the only way to chip it is when it is opened up. They are the only ones who have ever opened it. No responsibility taken and an unhappy customer over here. I would reconsider before bringing your repair here. uBreakweBreakitMore

I totally agree with some of these other reviewers. I took my 2 month old Z Fold 3 in to replace the screen protector(which Samsung informed me was possible now without replacing whole inner screen). The store disassembled the whole phone and replaced the inner screen, returned my phone and the back glass was popping off around edge to where you could hear popping when you held it and let off. I will summarize by saying it went back 3 times to uBreakiFix and is still popping off. I have been in touch with resolutions, who informed me they would get a warranty exchange. Back and forth being told to call Samsung, Samsung telling me to call the uBreakiFix only to be here 5 months later still back and forth. Will NEVER deal with uBreakiFix again and strongly suggest you deal directly with manufacturer or through insurance. You can see the back glass on photos push in, sticks for a minute then pops up. I am sure the phone is really water resistant now. Absolutely absurd for a $2k phone being sent in for bubbled screen protector and given back like this!

Now I know where the geeks and nerds from school work! I dropped my phone on the edge of a marble counter and cracked it right on the edge! Unfortunately, I didn't have insurance on it! After calling around, this place was the least expensive! They replaced my screen while I waited! I also purchased a new screen protector that comes with a built-in replacement policy! My only issue, I had to pay for parking even after they validate my parking ticket! Other than that I'm very pleased with the service here! #ubreakifx

Absolutely great service, and they know what the hell they're doing!

So I went here to have some warranty work done on my overly priced phone. I had dropped my phone on the same day that I had purchased my screen protector, I hadn't put it on yet and got caught slippin'😑😑😑 Anyway, thankfully I had the presence of mind to add insurance, in case my overly priced phone "fell on hard times..." I began the process of filing a claim. To start it off was a bit difficult because there were no clear instructions on how to do so; but after searching my phone companies website I found what I needed.

They, the insurance/warranty company, after taking my info; scheduled an appointment with this place. For me it's not conveniently located, but it is on one of MARTA's bus routes so I was with it.

This business seems to be part of a national chain and there are several in Atlanta, I went to the one at 1568 Avenue Pl D1-110, Atlanta, GA 30329 it's in that beautiful plaza across the street from the CDC. I came in at the scheduled time. I had one customer in front of me; she took a... really... loooong time! I was like REALLY?! It wasn't the reps fault IT WAS THE LADY!😬😃😃

When the rep got to me, he got straight to the point. Since I had an appointment he was able to take care of me pretty quickly😎 They already know how long it's going to take to do certain repairs so they tell before you come. 👍🏾👍🏾 Instead of being board with waiting and anticipation, I went and got a bite to eat for lunch. I came back, and my extremely overpriced phone was ready🙂🙂🙂 It was beautiful. I gave it a test run, PUT ON THE SCREEN PROTECTOR, and road out! "CANT NOBODY TELL ME NOTHIN'!"

That was 4 months ago and things are going well for me and my High Azz...

This is the second time I've gone to this location to get my phone fixed. It's not closer to me but I will drive the extra distance because I know, with 100% certainty, that I will be taken care of and have excellent customer service.

My first experience with the Lenox road location was terrible. The guy with the dreads was rude and condescending and I left almost in tears. (It takes a lot to get me to the brink of tears).

By the time I arrived at this location, I felt frustrated and hopeless. Justice took the time to explain what might have happened at the other location. I filed a Samsung claim, but the claim hadn't been received by the store.

Lenox road wanted to charge me $499 to fix my screen even though I had insurance through Samsung. And laughed when I said Samsung said it was going to be $99. The employee said he doesn't recognize that number ($99) and laughed in my face!

Justice was kind and patient even though he had a lobby full of people waiting to be seen or for their phones. He could have been rushed and made me feel like I was taking too much time with my questions. But he didn't. He explained what I needed to do to get Samsung to manually send the claim over to the store. Once I did that, they had everything they needed

When you don't have your device or access to your device, it can be stressful. Especially if you rely on your phone for everything

This team, particularly Justice, it's simply amazing. If you could clone people like justice, you would have customers for life.

Thank you for having people that care about good customer service in a time when no one...

Edit: I picked up my phone today and was greeted very professionally and with great customer service in regards to my situation. The manager personally apologized for my situation even though my repair came in before he took over and very generously discounted the repair. I'm not sure if my situation was a problem from previous management or if it's the whole chain, but whatever the case, the current uBreakiFix has excellent quality, excellent customer service, and handles problems very personally and delicately for anyone with a tech problem.

I came into uBreakiFix on August 28th with a boot loop issue on my phone, and I was told that it would take some time since they were busy with some other repairs. However, it's been about 3 weeks and all I'm getting is poor communication. Their online website has a device tracking tab, which has been all but helpful since the last time it was updated - August 28th. They had to ship my phone out to another location to repair, which was fine, but I expect at least consistent updates on the status of the repair. Sometimes I call and get a response that my phone has been fixed and is now shipping on its way (about a week and a half ago) and other times I get a response saying it hasn't been fixed and is only past the diagnostic stage (a couple days ago). Emailing the support team on their website isn't helpful either, as I've received no response in the past couple of days. As of right now, I'm still waiting on any news, but if you want a timely repair while being able to know how your phone is doing, you should...
