If I could give this theater experience 0 stars then I would. On the day after Thanksgiving, we purchased tickets early in the morning for my children to go see Moana 2 at 6:45. Apparently they have a policy that children under 18 must be with an adult 21 or older to attend on Friday and Saturday night. This policy was not visible on their website at the time the tickets were purchased, but to be honest, even if it was we still would have bought the tickets because my son and his girlfriend are both 21 and they were taking 4 kids between the ages of 15 and 17 (who we had to purchase adult priced tickets for). When informed that their tickets would not be able to be used, they told them that their parents would have to attend with them and they would not be eligible for a refund because it was not 2 hours before the show began. I was on the phone with my son when they asked to speak to the manager to ask for a refund. The manager was rude and acted very disinterested with helping and told them she would give them vouchers to return another day with parents. My son pulled up the website and read the policy and informed them that both him and his girlfriend were in fact 21 years old and meet the requirements for them all to attend. She continued to refuse admission, stating that they must have their parents. When a refund was requested, she had an attitude and said she would just have to see what she could do. She eventually refunded the ticket prices but we are still out the $15 service fee they charge to purchase the tickets. Not only is the policy ridiculous and obviously not properly adhered to, the customer service there leaves a lot to be desired. I guarantee our family will take our business to the other theaters in our area that are more customer oriented. One would think in this day and age where people complain about teenagers getting into trouble, there would be a place where they could go enjoy themselves in a safe environment, as long as they are...
Read moreEdit: Came here again on vacation and I would like to say it is still one of the best places in Conway during a visit. There is more staff around now, and everyone is very nice to my family. I was a little disappointed to see alcohol on display, but it was good that it wasn't forced on us at every turn. It is a bit more pricey than I remember, but the experience was still exemplary. The manager is a fine gentleman who was helpful and gave us some movies to look out for in the future. I won't be able to see them this year, but on my next visit I am looking forward to seeing how much this place grows.
My daughter and I were able to enjoy a great experience multiple times during our vacation thanks in part to this theater. The customer service is top notch, and in comparison to the theaters back west and even on the Myrtle Beach, it's pretty cheap for what you get. My daughter and I want to thank all of the staff for treating us so well.
Pros: Great value for your money. Friendly Staff. Good snacks. The kids movie program. Very clean inside. No alcoholic products. Bright lights outside to make sure you get back to your car safely. If you have a concern, the staff will make sure to help out. Even if that means you have to come back another day because their are no more seats, or if you are having a problem with a couple being way too amorous.
Cons: Building is a little on the rough side in appearance. My girl has to put tissue on the toilet commode because there are no sanitary papers for the seats. The freezie machine stays broken. Pepsi products, but at least there is diet Dr. Pepper. Lines can get long, and people are impatient over here. Security isn't the greatest since on three occasions I've had to shield my girl's view from people being indecent in their vehicles, and have been harassed once by a drunk.
I cannot wait to see how this place looks next summer when we return for another...
Read moreI have tried to give this theater the benefit of the doubt - due to it being reopened right in the beginning of the pandemic amongst other things. But it’s been more than a year since all of this, and this theater continues to disappoint. The popcorn is very stale, the soda always is flat, and the concessions at this location are much more expensive than other theaters in the area. The theater is in obvious disrepair, and that is evident as soon as you enter the parking lot - it’s full of weeds and just looks awful. Once you get inside it’s not much better it’s dank and is in need of a renovation. Most of the stuff (decor/cardboard cutouts) inside is from 4+ years ago. I can get past this stuff if the actual theater experience wasn’t so bad. -
I’ve been to this theater 4 times in the past few months (I go mainly because it’s pretty close to my house). Each time something has gone wrong - 1st time they didn’t turn the theater lights off until 10 minutes into the movie, 2nd time they messed the projection up to the point where the subtitles on the bottom of the screen were unreadable, the 3rd and 4th times had the exact same projection problem. It shouldn’t be this bad. This theater is in a great location, and has the potential to be a really awesome place, but management thinks doing the absolute minimum is enough. I will not be going to this theater anymore, maybe if they are able to finally fix things I’ll start going again.
Last thing I’ll say is the staff is friendly, and that is the only positive I...
