This park is in the Conway area, 15 mins from downtown area.
I love this place in the summer for the splash pad. It is free and when we went around 4pm, only 1 or 2 people were there. I think it is pretty large for a splash pad (I have no experience with splash pads though) and runs from 10a-5:45pm.
I like the wraparound porch by the bathrooms to sit and hang out and talk. The restrooms and this porch are very close to the splash pad.
The dog park is quite huge and away from the kids area which is nice. The little dog side is pretty large. A lot of equipment for the dogs to play on and shade for the owners.
The kids playground has a rock climbing wall and the little kids section does not have stairs but a ramp which my 16 month old LOVES. It is a decent sized playground with picnic tables in the shade for the parents.
A really large field for soccer or whatever games you want to play. I like that the sidewalk circles the entire park and that they have a baby lake with ducks. The parking also circles most of the park which is nice.
The park is almost completely in sun so that is the only downside. Very little parking is...
Read moreWe went to take my dog, Maverick to the dog park for the first time and read previous reviews for this park, so this sounded like a nice place to try. It is such a huge park! Sadly, we didn't take time to explore everything, but it was so spacious and so pretty! The dog park was great too. Separate, fenced-in areas for large dogs and small dogs, double gate entrances for security, obstacles for play, access to fresh water (although, the water did taste a little off, maybe bring your own). Maverick had a great time, and we enjoyed the scenery and watching him play with the other pitties off-leash. I have heard so many horror stories about dog parks, but our experience was great. The dog park section is also some distance from the parking lot, which is good, so your dog has time to relax before they get to the enclosure. Just be mindful of your surroundings and alert, and you and your dog should have a great time! Will definitely...
Read moreI absolutely looooovveeee this park!!!! It has great walking trails, a huge soccer field, and other really cool amenities as well!! I love skating so I'm typically over at the skating rink. It's a covered rink and has a lot of space, so unless a hockey or pickettball game is going on, you have plenty of room to have a great time on your skates. There is also a place for skateboarding as well, a huge soccer field, and basketball courts. But what's really dope about it is it's often not as crowded, definitely different from Lake Eola . Of course during after- work hours or events you have alot more people but overall it's a pretty quite park. If you are like me, and you enjoy just being out in nature, but don't like to be overly crowded places, give this place a look especially in the morning, I promise you won't be...
