I found this store when driving by when house hunting last year. I have been seeing their tiktoks and have been so excited to visit when I moved up here. I went this week and definitely didn’t go the way I expected or hoped for. Walking in we were greeted and it was 1.5 hrs before closing so I understand that employees are tired and want to go home. I worked in a store just like this for years. My mother joined me on this trip and was looking at the stuffed dogs and shared that we had just lost one of our dogs a few days before. The employee at the counter just said “oh”. Maybe she didn’t hear it was just tired but it kind of just made it awkward- especially since the first display walking in was a pet memorial display. I wanted to check out the treats but two employees were stocking and didn’t even acknowledge that I was trying to look. I felt like there were too many employees just rushing around but getting nothing done. One employee was very nice and welcoming, I believe her name was Tara, and an employee that was the only boy in there at the time - he was nice. The employee who checked us out was so uninterested in us and seemed like she just wanted us gone. And I get it, it’s a long day and people are crazy but I have worked in boutique pet sales for years and you just have to put a front on and get through it. She asked if I was apart of reward and I wasn’t but she didn’t ask me if I wanted to sign up. I totally would have since I rather but locally and not online from the company itself but this experience made me not want to come back. My receipt says Cassie checked me out but I don’t remember if that is what matched her name tag. I didn’t feel welcomed by her demeanor. I believe I also talked to Grace, asked her a question about a brand and she said that it was not sold here but recommended something else. She also asked about the brand I was referring to which I liked. Overall, some of the employees were nice but the nice ones didn’t seem to be working the counter - and maybe they should. I don’t think I would come back since I did drive an hour to visit since I was waiting so long to visit once I moved and this visit wasn’t great and I will just start...
Read moreIf I could give them more than 5 stars I would! What an awesome place! Besides having such a unique variety of really high quality food and products, and they’re always getting new things in, and besides the AMAZING pet bakery they have, (I have never seen dog treats as intricate and fun as these- the first time I visited I seriously didn’t know if their bakery items were for people or dogs- they look and smell THAT good!) but above all their customer service is beyond impeccable! They’re the reason I’ll go to them first than any big chain. From their handwritten personalized notes and free samples when you get things shipped, to if they don’t have something in stock when ordering online they email you immediately, with pictures of replacement items, and their shipping is so super fast! I just can’t say enough good things about them! They are so fun, my dog absolutely flips out as soon as we start getting close when we go because she’s so excited, and their service makes you feel like they genuinely know and care about...
Read moreWow what a treat to go on vacation and find a place that sells everything they could want but actually welcomes them in the door! I'm talking about our pets, the entire reason we bought out RV! We recently came to the White Mountains and saw an ad for Four Your Paws Only. Knew we had to visit and I have to say I wish wish wish I got the sales associate name because on both visits she walked us around and answered all our questions, recommended things for our two dogs and was so friendly too! Every employee we encountered had a smile and a hello and absolutely adored our two pups. We will definitely shop online until we can make it in again! So many great items and especially the bakery biscuits we brought home to our neighbors 8 huskies...
