La Primera Grocery — Attraction in Conway

I also heard the food was really good so me and a friend decided to go check it out. For a late lunch about 2pm. Didn't have to many choices but ordered more then one plate to take home and share with the family. I asked for everything to be large but I recieved a regular size. I told the server I asked for a larger portion she insisted that's how the order comes even thou I told her i didn't mind the extra charge. Well after going back and fourth about the size. The owner approached me and asked me. What was the problem. At first I said nothing everything is fine. But he asked again while I was paying for the food. I said after I repeatedly asked for a larger portion of food even if with an extra charge. She still went ahead and gave me a regular size. He apologized for the inconvenience and offered to lower my bill. IAnd told me your purchase is what pays this rent and my Bill's and that customer service was very important to him. He also mentioned that he noticed similar complaints that people would ask for 1 thing but seem to get other wise. Would I return yes if the owner himself...

This place it’s AMAIZING, best arroz con gandules y pernil that I have had. The prices are great... and the are a grocery store. The only negative thing is the wait. I went to get food and waited in line 40 minutes and there were only 5 people in front of me. They had only one person taking the orders and making them while the line was very long. They need to keep that line moving. Then when you go to pay it’s the same issue, more waiting. But again the taste of the food makes me come...

I don't get my groceries there, but if you want a GREAT deal on some amazing food -- with huge portions! -- visit their deli. Rice, meat, and beans in a large to-go container for $5. You can get a small to-go box of the same for $3. The food is amazing!! The atmosphere (for dining) is not so amazing, but it's not meant to be a dining experience.
