Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Orlando

I only gave it one star so that people could see the review. This place is a joke the manager and the employees are all a waste of so called workers. I went in the drive thru and they told us over the voice box to come in so we did just to stand there for 45mins or longer while they are getting people out fast in the drive lane! Mind you I didn't order yet so they had no idea if it was a long order or not. ( it wasn't it was just a 16 piece) What was the point of going in and then I asked the cashier at the front why they had me go in when they still taking orders in the drive lane and she told me " I don't know! I am only working the front counter!" Disrespectful! And then had to stand in the lobby with about 8 or 9 people because they didn't get their food too. At one point the guy that was there before me saw about 6 different guests go in order and get their food and then when he asked why he was waiting they told him that he was waiting for a different kind of chicken than them. He just asked them for a refund because he was tired of waiting poor man he was hungry and just wanted his food that he paid for. Hell I even got my food before him. All this is going on and the manager sees it fit to walk out to the front of the restaurant to smoke a cigg. Which first of all she should of stayed to make sure all her guests were happy and being taken care of. Second, she's not suppose to be smoking in uniform because you are suppose to be professional and not stink and contaminate your work clothes since you are working at a food place. Third, you are suppose to change and walk off of work property to have a smoke. But she saw it fit to smoke right infront of the place and so close to the front doors as well. Wow great management! Then they ran out of sweeten tea and they made the unsweetened tea sweet with sugar without labeling or they could have just made a small amount of it since it was later in the day. But what if someone that couldn't drink sweet tea ordered an unsweetened tea and the employee forgot it was sweetened tea and gave that to them. That would have been very dangerous for that person and a law suit for your company! Then with covid goin around still if they are not allowed to sit in then maybe you should block it off or have signs there was nothing around saying that and yet they wanted to get mad at acouple that sat down to eat and talk about them with the manager behind the counter! (Summary: Screaming among employees, general rudeness) Hello! The food in this establishment is always beyond tasty. However the service and employees don't do as well as they should (mainly due to the manager's behavior setting the standard for the store. She's a short light colored woman, to describe because I'm not positive she is management)

-Screaming matches are often heard from inside the store. Some employees are sweet, but more often than not my family will receive scoffs, attitude, and mainly unwelcoming ambiance.

-I watched as management interviewed this sweet lady who didn't understand much english. Management was overall rude when telling her she couldn't work here because of the language barrier. Valid reason but terrible execution all throughout.

-If you order your food altered, you mostly wont receive it. (This is awful in the case of allergies) Utensils and napkins are often not in the bag and if you ask for them, it can be a long wait until they come back to the window and help you.

-Around 10pm one night I ordered a chicken sandwich combo and my order was forgotten about for an hour until I went up and showed my receipt. Thankfully I was apologized to, the employee was sweet. Often times in the drive through we'll have to pull up to a parking spot to wait for a bit before receiving food. This will take so long, (30+ minutes) that we will have to go inside and sometimes still have to keep waiting.

-Overall, this specific location is a hassle. I haven't had problems anywhere else. Anyone Ive spoken to talks badly about it. This location is conveniently located right next to where I live and I used to show up every night after I had practice, so I promise I know what I'm talking about. The food is no problem for this restaurant as is the same great chicken flavor in all Popeyes Chicken. I want to review their management and way of treating people, we ordered through drive thru and when we arrived to the window the manager or assistant (diff color of shirt) provides us with our drinks, since we ordered a specific combo the drinks are medium and because they run out of the medium cups they gave us the large cup filled up at a 3/4.... if the restaurant does not knows how to handle their inventory to never run out of their supplies is NOT the clients fault to deal with it and filling the large cup would not be a huge impact on their cost as the drink syrup is cheap af. Second, paid extra sides did not even weighted much so when opening the lid we found a very small amount of the product (when it cost 2 dollars per side), the lid was not even dirty or had any liquid of our side - so you can imagine what I am talking about. Also the sides were not provided as requested (1 was incorrect and the other side was missing) and I had to go inside the restaurant. When I spoke with the same person on the window, he started to ask me questions about the order like if I was cheating or wanted something for free. I told him I only wanted what I paid for and to please solve my issue, he needs a customer service training ASAP. He did solved my issue after his irrelevant discussion which bothered me to the max. I will never go back to this specific location, nor recommend this location....
