Crazy Pollo Latin Grill — Restaurant in Conway

I don’t know how this place has such great reviews. Our experience was terrible! I ordered the grilled chicken dinner. The chicken was dry and burnt. They didn’t ask me what type of rice I wanted. I saw someone else’s plate come out just moments after we ordered, asked what options I had, and picked the yellow rice. When she brought the plate... it had white rice. I sent it back. She brought the plate back again... WITH WHITE RICE. I sent it back AGAIN and they finally got it right. My friend ordered the Spanish equivalent to a turkey club sandwich with no onions. It had onions. It took another 10 minutes to get his sandwich while I sat and ate my food. Drinks? You don’t get them yourself. The young lady that took our order is in charge of that. And refills. ...except she was more interested in what was on her phone screen as she stood at the register. The place wasn’t even that busy. We were one of two groups in there. We will...

I had my second visit to Crazy Pollo, and unfortunately, it didn't quite live up to the fantastic experience I had the first time. When I walked in, there was no greeting from the person at the register. She swiftly asked if I was ready to order, and though I requested a moment to look at the menu, I felt rushed when prompted again within 25 seconds.

After placing my order and asking about the wait time, I was informed it would be 10 minutes. I set a timer, returned to my car, and came back promptly. Surprisingly, my food wasn't on the counter yet. Shortly after, it appeared, but the young lady handling it didn't communicate that it was mine. A simple acknowledgment or identification would have been appreciated.

Ultimately, there was a lack of courtesy in the interaction. It left me with a somewhat uncomfortable feeling. I recommend reinforcing a warm and appreciative atmosphere for patrons upon entering.

After I read the reviews of this place I decided to give it a try since the complaints were about service I place an order to go that should fix the problem with bad service, I was wrong. I ordered chicken kabob, corn fritter and fried chicken chunks with fried plantains,( pincho de pollo, sorullito de maiz y chicharones de pollo con tostones). After 15 minutes the order was ready, went I grabbed the bag I noticed that was very light so I asked her what was inside, she forgot to put the kabob inside so for the no service problem. The food was very good but the chicharones need a little more of flavor. I will definitely go back to try something different but will make sure to check my order...
