A must stop at local bookstore if you're in or near the area! I'm a total lover of indie bookstores and this one definitely didn't disappoint.
It's a little out of the way from the main town (maybe an extra 2 minute walk?) but well worth it! Inside you'll be greeted by friendly staff and that overwhelming "new book" smell that you can't help but love. Their collection of books is great and includes autographed copies from different authors in addition to novels by local artists!
The store also has a great selection of little gifts and cards for those that are maybe harder to shop for.
Overall - adorable place with a great selection and incredibly kind...
Read moreMy partner and I happened to drive by this adorable little book store in search of a gift shop. Instead of moving on, we decided to step in and were not disappointed. We entered what seemed like a charmed mountain cottage and were instantly greeted by a lovely couple. Their walls were lined with attractive books carefully positioned to lure us in even deeper. Among the many germane sections I couldn't help but pick up a collection of countrified farmsteads and the canterbury tales. There was even an upstairs! The only thing that could make the place even better would be a coffee shop... Maybe upstairs. I don't think I would be...
Read moreMy wife and I stopped in here to find a rainy day read on our vacation. It is a quaint little bookstore. The staff was very helpful. While they had some of the best sellers, due to their size they had a limited selection for immediate purchase but were willing to order whatever you needed if you had the time. They had a sampling of all genres. We loved that their were recommendations on little cards for many of the books which is a touch you don't find in larger bookstores. Definitely worth checking out if you have the need...
