I thought the bad reviews were just those type of people who were used to more elaborate hotels, but they were right. So first thing was the comforter had a blood stain on it so not great, all though they did replace everything once we informed them so that's why I'm giving them 3 stars instead of 1 or 2. Next thing was the fact they didn't replace our bath towels every day and when we went to get new ones at the office they were always damp as if they air dried them or something. Third issue was the bathroom door didn't close because the top door hinge had loose screws, oh and the sink handles were installed the wrong way (I'll include pictures to explain what I mean) And fourth, the room in general was just kind of dirty including the chairs, countertops, and the heaters looked like they had never been vacuumed out as there was debris everywhere and given my uncle is a retired firefighter that set off a red flag for me. And last but not least they power strip they had with the gross coffee maker plugged into it didn't charge my phone properly somehow as it lost like 50 percent of its battery life in like 3 hours, but when I plugged it directly into the wall the phone held the charge all day, so there is something off about those power strips and I wouldn't plug anything expensive in them, if you plan to go to save money like we did id bring my own power...
Read moreI booked online from Expedia and the pictures made the motel look nicer than it was. The location is good, next to the Moose and shops. The gentleman who checked me in was pleasant but not talkative.
The rooms are older inside and not a lot of space to move about. The bed was clean ( I checked the sheets and pillows). The bathroom appeared clean until I got into the shower and hairs all on the back wall from previous guests. (Gross) I cleaned it with toilet paper and didn't say anything to the front desk. I did not take off my socks inside and wiped down where I placed my bags.
Who ever they have cleaning doesn't check for details as there was clothing left in the closet area.
The electric outlets on the table didn't work at all for my phone, I tried several and they weren't working at all. So I went and charged my phone in the car so it wouldn't completely die.
Wifi kept coming in and out so I ended on just using my own data. TV had some cable channels but nothing I was interested in watching. The heat does work in the room but takes a few minutes to kick in. IF you want somewhere inexpensive to stay and don't mind roughing it this may be fine. It's not glamorous and no extra amenities, but got...
Read moreThe hotel was very dated as mentioned in other reviews but not that bad. They were not very kid friendly, we had had a busy day and took the kids to play at pool around 7:00PM, about 20 or so minutes later a person came out and stared at our kids through the gate for a good 5 - 10 minutes, we were starting to get concerned when we where informed that we are being to loud and that guest are trying to sleep. We had our kids keep quite and for another 10 minutes or so while the employee circled around the out side perimeter of the pool making us feel uncomfortable so we had the kids get out and head back to our room. We were determined to get out of their first thing in the morning. The following morning as I was packing our cars up the same person came by to our room while I was juggling 2 backpacks and managing the kids and asked if we were ready to check out. I gave a frustrated "give me a couple of minutes" reply. We have since read reviews about weird smells which we did not see. We were wondering why they had vacancies while the rest of the local hotels did not, we found out why after one stay.
My recommendation to the hotel would be to give your...
