We have loved our son’s experience at AOS Cornelius! He has been in the beginner acting course (6-8yr olds) since August, and I can absolutely see his growth in confidence, memorization and character development on stage. He is always excited to attend and Ms Aleshia has been fantastic for us - we appreciate her level of experience and the high standard she holds the kids. She is always available to us, yet parents aren’t allowed to stay and watch inside the classroom. The big bay windows help for great sneak peaks during their weekly hour together. I’m impressed with the variety of content he has explored and the set design available for their recent “parent watch” performance. We’re excited to be a part of the larger AOS studio network to tap into additional resources in the future like auditions, headshots, and more. I recently took an improv class at Acting Out Studio, and it was nothing short of amazing! From the moment I walked in, the energy was welcoming, fun, and encouraging. The instructor was not only hilarious but also incredibly skilled at creating a safe space where everyone—regardless of experience—felt comfortable taking risks and being silly.

The exercises were engaging, creative, and pushed me out of my comfort zone in the best way possible. I laughed more than I have in ages, and I walked away with newfound confidence in thinking on my feet. My child E has been taking Improv classes at Acting Out Studios since 2021. AOS was recommended to us by his friend. E loved it from the first night. The class has had several teachers over the years that have all added to E’s experience. The skills that E is practicing through Improv carry over to all aspects of life - communication, public speaking, explaining, planning ahead, recalling topics from earlier scenes, thinking on your feet. Plus, it is fun and funny! There are many opportunities for parents to watch their progress and see their skills and sense of humor develop. The instructors are well trained and experienced themselves. The administrative staff is very helpful.
