SERVPRO of Hillsboro/Forest Grove — Attraction in Cornelius

We waited almost 5 weeks for another contractor to get us a cleaning estimate for cleaning our Lodge facilities after the Camp Fire tore through Paradise only to leave several unanswered messages. One of our Lodge members mentioned that ServPro was working right up the street. Woody Nelson approached Servpro's Anthony Noble about cleaning the Lodge for smoke and soot damage from the fire. Anthony and Matt were there within 2 hours to see what we needed. We had a detailed, comprehensive estimate to present to the insurance adjustor within a week. Keep in mind that this facility is over 20,000 square feet in area and covers 2 stories. The bid was accepted and cleaning was commenced shortly after. These people brought the necessary resources and personal to complete the cleaning process rapidly, professionaly, safely and cautiously, without damage, while working under some pretty extreme weather conditions, not to mention the complete devastation surrounding us in the town of Paradise. There was excellent communication throughout the arduous process of this huge undertaking. I can't thank ServPro and their professional staff enough for their Caring and Professional work in restoring our Masonic Lodge to its sparkling appearance and would recommend this company without reservation to anyone who needs or requires their service.

We were very disappointed with them and the services they provided. I called and they said they would come later in the day but they never showed up. We received a call later saying they won’t come that day but first thing in the morning. So we lined up our Plummer’s to come later in the morning so they could repair the damaged pipes. Well they still didn’t show up. So I called the office around 1:00 pm and I got the impression they forgot about me. The dispatcher said she would send someone out now but that were still at the office. When someone finally did show up he was put out that he would have to go under our house in the crawl space for the cleanup. He made it clear to everyone, including my waiting plumbers, that he wasn’t happy about it. He want even the person doing the work. LATER yet his crew showed up. They worked for a few hours and left. By the time the work was to be done there was still standing water and the plastic that was put down they barely spread it out at all. My experience with servpro has been wonderful. From beginning to end the work they performed was exceptional. Nate always informed me when he was going to be on-site, explained what was being done and why. I felt that I was not just another job. The care of my home was very important to them, and I could see it in their efforts. When I had a problem getting a roofing company to tarp my house, Matt at servpro found one the same day. Thereby saving my home from further damage. I can't stress this enough, I have had many times in my life that I was treated poorly by contractors. That is not the case with servpro employees. Professional, careful, cautious and very knowledgeable about their work. I pray my home never has a problem like this again, but if it does, my first call will be to servpro of Hillsboro and Forest Grove.
