In spite of the mixed reviews, I still love the C-town farmers market and I would like to see it grow positively. The produce is great, has great prices - sure the dairy section and the produce section could use cleaning up and not up to the mark. Not a big fan of meat here too-disappointed with the meat here although it says halal. However, it has a great selection of foods-Indian, middle eastern, and other. They also have a great selection of pottery and artistic dinnerware, utensils and crockery. Overall it has great variety. If the produce and dairy section upkeep goes up, this can be a great store. I also absolutely love the Indian restaurant Bawarchi in here - extremely friendly staff - and 90% of the time has great food - my go to spot. Also, I only have good things to say about the bakery store near the entrace. Sadly, there Indian store Spice Asia is no longer there - but while it was there it was an absolutely great experience - I hope another Indian store takes its place!! Overall super store and hope it grows well and the community supports it.
Also in the same complex there are some hidden gems - like the store next to the laundry that can be easily missed is like a multipurpose store and a mini walmart - I quite...
Read moreThis place is a vermin infested area. Please c town market, get it under control. Stop piling you bales of cardboard sky high. Close your truck trailer doors. You have a camera in the exterior back, do you not see the animals and homeless going in there? Your camera must not work. Homeless people shower under your motion activated light near the door that goes into the market, fights happen, exchanges of things for money, people doing drugs. Clean up your area. Be considerate of the community. Your forklift activity is too loud, music is played, things are thrown around without caution causing big bangs. I've called the police on several occasions because things are happening behind your store that are unnerving. Fix this. Clean up. Stop acting like no one can see your mess. I feel like the market isn't doing anything positive. Makes me feel like it's a slum. Why not do things right? If you can't afford it, get out of the business. The inside isn't that great. Fruits and vegetables are rotten sometimes. Many flies inside. Meat does not look fresh. Aisles are dirty, you can find trash on shelves. Cashier has been rude more than 4 times. I've given this place 6 chances. Get with the...
Read moreI recently visited C-Town, and I must say, it’s a game-changer! Under new ownership, this market has completely transformed into a go-to destination for high-quality Middle Eastern products, fresh produce, and an impressive selection of Halal foods—all at unbeatable prices.
The first thing I noticed was how well-organized and clean the store is, making it easy to navigate through the wide selection of fresh fruits, vegetables, spices, and specialty goods straight from the Middle East. From fresh-baked pita and za’atar bread to premium olive oils, tahini, and a variety of dates, they truly have everything you need for authentic Middle Eastern cooking.
One of the biggest highlights is their Halal butcher section, offering top-quality meats at some of the best prices in town. Whether you’re looking for lamb, beef, or freshly marinated kebabs, they have it all—perfect for grilling or preparing home-cooked meals.
If you’re looking for authentic Middle Eastern ingredients, fresh Halal meats, and unbeatable deals, this farmers market is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be coming...
