First I respect that the business is owned, engineered, and designed by one person. I tip my hat to them. That's a lot of work and everything I'm about to explain is only constructive feedback to help the player's experience be better.
I've experienced 3 of their escape rooms. Clue, Plankton's Revenge, and Beetlejuice. To give you an idea of how much experience I have in escape rooms including these 3, I've experienced about 20 escape rooms located in Texas, Seattle, and Vegas.
I experience escape rooms with a balanced outlook. I'm not just focused on completing them. I care about the player's experience from walking through the front doors until they exit the building.
Information overload - there were long sets of rules that were explained to us that was too much information in a short amount of time. We absorbed about 3 minutes of rules at the front desk, then another set of rules once we entered the Clue room, and then a 3 minute video introducing the escape room. I'd recommend condensing the rules down to very critical need to knows and put more work into designing the rooms and puzzles in such a way that doesn't allow for people to harm the props or puzzles.
Quality of props and puzzle pieces - sometimes things were hand written, drawn with a marker, glue was visible along the edges of items, cut-outs were jagged or done with an unsteady hand, etc. I'd recommend thinking through the presentation, durability, and quality of props and puzzle pieces. It keeps the emersion high when interacting with these items. There's a unique feature they offer where there's 2 golden keys hidden and if you find one and place it into the special key hole you gain extra time. This feature is great, but the key hole in the wall felt very loose and was leaning low when inserted which didn't make the experience feel that rewarding. Something like that also deserves a celebratory sound effect to enhance the experience.
I like that they offer a competitive aspect to the escape rooms and host tournaments. However, it seemed like the strictness of the tournaments bled into the casual players experience. Extra strict rules were in place that took away casual freedoms such as; photos inside the rooms before starting them, bringing phones inside the rooms, looking around the room during the intro video penalizes time from the clock, taking photos with our own phones immediately after exiting the rooms, forcing us to create a team name and us automatically being added to the record times list etc. I'd recommend finding a way to separate competitive players from casual players and catering the strict rules to one side while giving the other side room to breath more.
When experiencing Plankton's Revenge part of the rules that were explained to us in the room was to be careful how we insert keys into a box. This felt like a waste of time. I recommend designing key mechanisms that are clear in how to use them and unique to one another so there could be no confusion when interacting with them.
Before we entered every room during the explanation of the rules it was spoilled that there were multiple rooms to open up. PLEASE... STOP THIS. Unexpectedly opening up a new room is part of the element of surprise and adds an impactful positive experience for players.
If these bits of feedback were incorporated in their designs and the player's experience I think it would help the business drastically.
Again, very proud of the...

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing Extraordinary Escapes, and I can confidently say it exceeded all expectations! From the moment we stepped inside, the atmosphere was immersive, the puzzles were brilliantly designed, and the adrenaline rush was real.
The storyline was incredibly engaging, making us feel like we were part of a high-stakes mission. The clues were cleverly hidden, requiring teamwork, creativity, and just the right amount of brainpower to solve. Each puzzle felt unique, and the room had a perfect balance of challenge and excitementânever too easy but also not frustratingly difficult.
The game master did a fantastic job setting the scene and providing just the right amount of hints when we needed them. Their enthusiasm added to the overall experience, making it even more enjoyable.
Whether youâre a first-time escape room participant or a seasoned pro, this is an adventure worth taking.
