My son had the burrito dinner he really liked it a whole lot. The service was great the atmosphere dull, would not recommend for a romantic or cozy time. However the restaurant was clean which is a great Plus in Corpus. I had the sour cream chicken enchiladas, the reason for my low review. The chicken inside was red I guess from seasonings it just looked gross. Their salsa was a blood red as well artificial looking, however at least the salsa tasted good. The chicken in the chicken enchiladas however did not. That sour cream sauce they used was horrible. I expected it to have a mixture of sour cream and chillies, something with Mexican flavoring. However it just had a bland yet funky taste, not good. The taco that came with my dinner was better, the problem was it fell apart while you tried to eat it. I have eaten there in the past and gotten fajitas and thought they were pretty good. Since my son enjoyed his burrito we may try this place again, just don't get the sour cream...
Read moreI read the awesome reviews and figured I should come check it out. I walked in and it has a great family atmosphere. The place was clean and upscale looking. My friend and I sat down and about 3 minutes later our server came to get our drink order. We were in a hurry, so we picked something that could be served easily and quickly: Tacos. The waiter noticed her drink was empty so he took it and never came back. 45 minutes ( no I'm not exaggerating, I looked at my watch when I came in) My friend received her food with no drink remember because he never bought it back. I sat there and watched her eat with no drink. My food was no where to be found. I couple minutes later i walked up to the cashier and told them I needed a to go plate for her food. They apologized several times, for the horrible service. I ended up going to a drive thru down the street for some tacos. I left majorly disappointed. Not cool Jalisco Grill. I really wanted to...
Read moreThe first time i came here, i was driving up to texas to check Corpus Christi out since my family was about to move here. i wanted mexican and stumbled across this place. We dined in the first time and the food was soooo good. I got the street tacos and a few other things on the menu. It was all amazing. Fast forward a few months.. we are officially texans and moved right down the street to this place. Im telling you i would order food from here two to three times a week or more! I loved their street tacos. Id order them and go pick them up. Over time.. the food quality got BAD. the meat tasted old, very bland and dry. They started giving us less tacos than before. It really is a shame. I loved this place so much but stopped eating there due to getting food poisoning after eating...
