Whataburger is fairly new to me. I am from Kansas City where we just recently had Whataburger open for Patrick Mahomes love for spicy ketchup. Anyway, the food is not bad. The LONG WAIT is the issue. I have placed 3 online orders with the estimated time to on the app to arrive at store location. Out of the 3 online orders. 1st I got there on time stated in app. I waited 21 minites AFTER given time on app to pick up a breakfast bowl! 2nd online order. I actually waited 10 minutes past app stated arrival time to pick up my order. I STILL waited 7 minutes. Total of 17 minutes to get a single burger meal combo. Nothing special. ( By the way, after 1st online order. I decided to time them for fun.) 3rd online order I waited 15 minutes past the app stated time...folks I can walk to this Whataburger location in 2 minutes. I live right behind the location! I pulled up to the drive thru. Not ONLY was there a long line that took 15 minutes, but my food was garbage. Cold french fries, burger had cheese and pickle (allergens)and the lady at the drive thru window uses her hand with her plastic gloves on that she did not change prior to grabbing my cup and wiped the flipping rim of the cup with these dirty gloves to prevent the mess but you've wiped the rim with your dirty gloves and expect me to enjoy that. Read moreI come to this Whataburger all the time because it's in my neighborhood. I always order drive through and order the number 5 with extra extra extra extra extra crispy bacon. I always remind the guy that's at the window as well and they assure me that it's going to be extra crispy and it's never extra crispy. The burgers are very sloppy. My pickles were stacked up on top of each other. Tomatoes were stacked as well as well. I orderer drive through all the time and they always get it wrong or make a sloppy burger. This has been going on for the last year almost. I got to other whataburgers and they always get it right the first time. Managers need more quality control in the kitchen. I worked at whataburger many years ago and I know how a good quality whataburger is made. This isnt the way. This location needs to step it up. I will start going to the nile location...
Read moreShout out to Immanuel. I sponsor an environmental group at Foy H Moody High School, Corpus Christi, Texas. We were doing a beach clean up, and eating lunch a Whataburger. I had about 60 people, kids and chaperones. I spoke to a manager that Friday. She gave me a name of the manager for the next day. I called that morning, spoke with Immanuel, we set a time for us to roll though with 2 busloads of people. We ended up showing up 30 minutes earlier. I called him an informed him that we were coming in early. Immanuel said "no problem". We get there and everything was set up. They passed out cups, place the food on the rack.
