My husband and I had a less than ideal experience with the delivery of our mattress today. Weeks ago while purchasing our mattress I made sure to ask that our old mattress would be taken away when the new one arrives. We do not have a truck, so that would be our only option. We were assured by the sales rep that it would be. Today I called Furniture Row/Denver Mattress before our scheduled delivery to make sure it would be taken and they said, "yes it will be." We left our old mattress at the end of our driveway for the delivery men's convenience. The delivery happened and our old mattress was not taken away. When I called Furniture Row to find out why that was, they told me we didn't pay for a pick up fee and it will be $99 for them to come back another day. After being told by two separate employees, on the day of purchase and day of delivery that my old mattress would be picked up and then told a different story, we are left feeling frustrated. And I'm less than enthusiastic to open my wallet again and dish out $99 after spending over $5000. The mattress manager did give me a 50% discount to come another day and take the old mattress. But their apathetic response was enough for us not want to deal with them anymore. I hope the management reads this; its short sighted not to help your customers out and see what you can do after a misunderstanding. I know you don't care, but after spending tens of thousands of dollars at this store we will not be shopping with you again because we are that petty and we have other options in town. 2 stars for misinformation given and the inconvenience falling on the customer. Read moreThe reviews for Denver Mattress Corpus Christi were so good online that this was the first stop I made when I was looking for a new mattress after a major move. I was very impressed with the customer service. Gabriel helped me and was super attentive, informative, friendly, and professional. He patiently helped me for a long time and answered all of my questions and gave me lots of great information without being pushy at all (a major bonus for me when shopping anywhere). He made sure I was able to try all the mattresses I wanted to and helped me select ones that were comfortable (which were different than I had expected). When I left the store to make some more stops (so as to consider all my options), there was still zero pressure. I ended up coming back and purchasing my mattress here because the customer service was unmatched elsewhere in town. I brought my mother back later to help make decisions, and the other staff who helped us in store and over the phone at the time of purchase were also professional and knowledgeable. I have not received my mattress yet, so I can't speak to that side of the experience (I will update his review with mattress info once it arrives), but the in-store experience was absolutely superb. Went to several other mattresses companies, some ok but some really bad on customer service. When my wife and I narrowed it down to 4 beds. Tried another company High Pressure. Went back to Denver Mattress. Greeted immediately by a courteous manager and asked for Diego. He greeted us with a smile. Gave him my list. He immediately gave us the pros and cons of each bed. Gave us other options too. Very knowledgeable. When we decided on a bed. He brought us pillows to try on the bed to make sure it was still a good choice. Suggested good box springs. Sit us down and explained the bed in detail. Then went over the warranty in detail, then suggested really good pillows for the bed, a mattresses cover. Never in my life has anyone explained the mattress, how the warranty works in such great detail while being professional, courteous and friendly. Diego is truly a great asset to Denver Mattress.
