This is the hidden gem of Costa Mesa! The park was designed to celebrate the Moon landings and let me tell you, they knocked it out of the park. They have a GIANT MOON, play structures as old as the rovers used during the actual landing and the Fountain. Let me tell you, this water fountain is truly straight out of Vernice! Cool blue water flowing effortlessly through the hand sculpted fountain stone. It reminds me of a mountain spring being guided through the hands of a Greek god. You can also enjoy the pleasant hiking trail that will take you down to the lower Santa Ana River. With abundant wildlife, Moon Park is a great place to start your adventures along the river. I highly recommend this park on your trip around Southern California. 10 out of 10...

Kids can't hole it till...

Much better than it sounds. Parent tip; The way the park is placed it makes nice natural barriers so you can spot the kids more easily. At night its kinda not a safe place, there is a long bike path tunnel that goes under the freeway. It could attract some...
