This little Park is nice and peaceful. The grass is green and beautiful. There's a few picnic tables, plenty of shade, and two small playgrounds. The best feature is the moon! Once you see it you'll know what I mean. The park is adjacent to the river trail so it can be a nice starting or ending point for runners 🏃 or bikers 🚲 the neighborhood seems nice and quiet.

Every time we passed by this little park on the way to the Newport Beach on the road bike, we couldn't resist to take a short break, cooling off under these big trees, laying on the green grass carpet, taking a zip of our herbal energy drink and enjoying the ocean breeze... Before heading to the ocean.

I went at night to see some art. I didn't get a good impression of the park, but this is an amazing spot for street art. Well lit. Clean wall. Nice parking. And no one around in the very early morning.

This is the hidden gem of Costa Mesa! The park was designed to celebrate the Moon landings and let me tell you, they knocked it out of the park. They have a GIANT MOON, play structures as old as the rovers used during the actual landing and the Fountain. Let me tell you, this water fountain is truly straight out of Vernice! Cool blue water flowing effortlessly through the hand sculpted fountain stone. It reminds me of a mountain spring being guided through the hands of a Greek god. You can also enjoy the pleasant hiking trail that will take you down to the lower Santa Ana River. With abundant wildlife, Moon Park is a great place to start your adventures along the river. I highly recommend this park on your trip around Southern California. 10 out of 10...

I live just around the corner from the moon park, my kids grew up at the Moorpark, riding their skateboards down the sides before the fence went up, the playground equipment has changed, there has always been a big kid and small kid side, but the thing my kids loved most was the rocketship, which is no longer there, they loved climbing all the way inside to the top, many times I went up with them, such good times, and there was a merry-go-round, those things are all gone now, it's very generic although still fun for kids who didn't kno it from before, for this reason and the fact there is no bathroom, I give it only 4 ☆☆☆☆ wake up city planners all parks for kids need a bathroom! Kids can't hole it till...

Normally a 5 star but there is a lot of freeway construction when I was there. Font think they'll be finished any time soon. Can't what to see it after though. Ya so its a nice little park in the far corner of the state track ( all the street names are states ) it backs up to the Santa ana river bed bike trail and shares a large soon to be wall with the 405 freeway over pass embankment. Much better than it sounds. Parent tip; The way the park is placed it makes nice natural barriers so you can spot the kids more easily. At night its kinda not a safe place, there is a long bike path tunnel that goes under the freeway. It could attract some...
