Great selection - prices are just ok ..... their customer service is terrible!! The are the rudest company (the other TJMAXX stores do the same thing) of any retailer at closing time. At 3 minutes after closing I had an employee come up to me and said - if you want to buy that stuff you need to go now or they will shut down....oh ok.... id love to see that one...... I am thinking that since there is a large selection of discount stores to chose from - all retailers should be kissing the ground their customers walk on not pissing them off.... If they care.... I have been in retail my entire life and if we ever treated a customer like that we would be in serious trouble if they informed a manager of what was said. Customers aren't just casually shopping after the closing announcement is made - they probably are looking for something and could use some help..... Try helping your customers in stead of pushing them out the door..... If it happened once or twice it would be fine but it happens ALL THE TIME!!! A happy customer may say something about their experience to others (MAY say something...) an unhappy and angry customer will be calling numbers to complain, telling people who are walking in the store as they are walking out that they were let down and cheated, they will get on the phone and call friends and family to share their experience with them and whenever something is triggered in their head about what happened - they will share the uglies again!! The attitude from this company about closing and the rudeness you show customers will change my mind about TJ Maxx - I don't need...
Read moreI would give this store zero stars if it was possible. I visited the store on Saturday, April 10th in the afternoon and was turned away at the door by the “door/cart monitor” because I had a coffee in my hand. She told me I was not permitted to come into the store with it. I said I had never had a problem before in any of their stores and there was no signage stating this policy, so I asked to speak to a manager. The woman who came out, that claimed to be a manager, informed me that it was a “state mandate” that no drinks are allowed in the store. I informed her that there was no such mandate in place, as I have gone to other Marshalls, Home Goods and TJ Maxx stores and never had any issues. I will be calling corporate on Monday morning to file a complaint and suggest that they better educate their employees, especially management about state mandates and I will never give this store my...
Read moreTejal, the manager, and Angela were incredibly friendly and professional. Let's say I don't often shop at TJ Maxx, but I did stop by another time because I was impressed with their customer service.
I was looking for large containers and found some, but wanted more. I was hesitant to ask at the cashiers as many customers were waiting in line and didn't want to create unnecessary congestion. Nonetheless, they offered to help and quickly asked someone in the back to check and came out with just what I was looking for in a flash. While waiting in line, they were friendly, and Tejal even convinced me to apply for a TJM credit card. It's employees like these two that corporations should reward. I was even offered to have the large and cumbersome containers moved and loaded on my car for me. I would stop by (already did) again simply because of the professional...
