Chuck E. Cheese — Restaurant in Costa Mesa

Poor service and upkeep. No attempt at service recovery from staff. The gaming floor was littered with trash and quite a few machines didn't work. This is very hazardous for small children running around.

My daughter wanted to play before eating so we left our coats and bags at the table so we clearly were not done with our food but they bussed our table anyway. Even the souvenir cup I had purchased.

When I politely told the girl at the counter, she gave me a dirty look. Did not offer any food or a refund for all the food we didn't eat and rolled her eyes when I asked for a new souvenir cup. She didn't care that my kid was hungry and they took all food I bought. The boy working the toy counter was very sweet though.

Why are they so eager to bus tables but nobody cleans the floor where children play? I've never had problems at other locations. I just won't...

I really don't like to rate places this score but I think it was necessary. I know that chuck e cheese is a place for people to spend with kids but I know that they also advertise pizza to go.... I had such a bad experience where I waited more than an hour for a pizza. I kept seeing other people that came before me getting their pizza and I would not until I approached a manager. Bad experience I sent my feedback to chuck e cheese... all they did was give me 20 tickets to claim. I was not looking for compensation all I wanted was for them to handle to the situation differently. Even though the pizza for me is delicious I will no longer be visiting chuck e cheese and I made that clear when submitted...

First off extremely over priced. Having only stuffed crust as opposed to regular and They still charge the $3.00 extra for stuffed crust when they didn’t have any other option. Young lady at the register was clearly all about overselling. She told us we could upgrade our drinks to kids cool cups for free since we needed four drinks not the six that came with the package. Then she charges me for that too. $$1.79 more x 2. $133.00 visit was a bit much I was about $100 in for two pizzas four drinks a salad bar and a cookie. Game cards also $1 each. On the bright side the place was very clean, not over crowded, and very spacious. We enjoyed our time overall. Lady at the door...
