Verde Valley Fairgrounds — Attraction in Cottonwood

I have to say that the treatment I got here was shocking. The camp host seems to be unaware that paying for services means you should actually get them. I paid for a week, with electricity. (There are no full hookups). 4 days in, it was demanded that I remove my trailer immediately for a night. As if that was even legal. Surprise! This was for the circus to use my spot. !!! What? The circus has been scheduled for a while. How did they not plan? How on earth would you screw up this badly? Then being totally rude to me, telling me to just boondock! Poor service, poor management, clueless. I was finally given permission to stay, and the circus was just fine with that. Plus- If you don't like people yelling, close to your camp, at 7am, don't stay here. ...

Fairground are very fun and a good selection of rides. Not stroller friendly or elderly who use a walker. Would be awesome if there were more healthier food and drink options. And more shaded seating areas would have been nice. There was only one that we saw. Overall good fun...

Love this small town fair. It is so much fun to see the results of hard work and dedication from the FFA kids that raised animals. There is a nice variety of rides and games, various food options, music and the rodeo. Parking toward evening can be a little...
