I Had a stressful and terrible experience with Lifeline Technology Solutions.
1st bad experience was when I asked for TWO DAY express shipping for the computer parts that cost me over $30. The parts did not arrive until the NEXT WEEK......
2nd I brought my laptop in and left it to get fixed, when I went to pick it up they did not turn the computer on and show me that they actually did they're jobs, and the computer was fixed
3rd I get home and the part that was broken my keyboard (only a few keys didn't work) was fixed, BUT now all of a sudden my charger doesn't WORK!! Which it did work perfectly fine, before I brought it in to Lifeline Technology Solutions. I would plug it into the wall and the charger would light up green, but as soon as you try and plug it into the laptop to charge it the light shuts off immediately!
4th The plug that you put into the outlet is COMPLETELY diffrent! I feel like I'm going crazy, BUT I know how it feels like unplugging and plugging into different outlets and this new plug is a completely different shape, and smaller!
5th Lifeline Technology Solutions had no SOLUTIONS! Excpet they think, that maybe, but they're not too sure, but possibly my motherbaord is now BROKEN!!!!! My motherboard was completely fine before bringing it in. The guy who own the place (don't even know his name, thats how little he interacted with customers) was no help at all.
All in all, I sincerely REGRET my busines with Lifeline Technology Solutions. NEVER should have used them, my laptop actually WORKED before they "fixed it" I just had to use the on screen keyboard. Now my laptop is a brick, and I have to send it to Dell. And College starts very soon.
Only good thing is Rebecca and Jessica are extremely nice, and they refunded me, which is great but I had a WORKING computer before now its a BRICK.

Read moreMy 10 YO desktop finally went to sleep, for good. I decided to look locally from Clark, and found Lifeline Tech in Cranford. After calling them, Jason was very helpful in determining exactly what my goal was: recover data and fix an old PC, or recover and transfer data to a new PC. Understanding a 10 YO PC is, in fact, OLD, I was focused on a new PC. Jason made it very clear that he was fine if I went to a "big box" store and bought a discounted PC, and he would gladly recover and transfer my old data to a PC that I bought somewhere else. I opted to buy my Dell PC from Lifeline. Although he told me he would have my new PC (with the recovered/transferred data) ready the next day, it was ready the same day! His team member, Rebecca, called me at home to go over a couple things and to transfer my Norton subscription to my new PC. He also provided the adapter cables I needed to connect my old 23 inch flat screen monitor. Great job to Jason, Rebecca, and Lifeline Technology for helping me with my home PC issue.
