We dine here regularly, about once a week. It is a great place to dine and relax. The excellent menu choices, quality and quantity of food, the Proprietor's genuine friendliness and the warm and inviting atmosphere of this Restaurant keep us coming back. It is a Family Restaurant. Delicious, Fresh, Hearty and Healthy and Filling Dishes made to order. Large/Generous portions. My husband favors delicious beef burgers and shrimp fajitas, my favorite is the taco salad with chicken. Delicious guacamole and chips and soup specials; beverages - lots of hot and cold choices, Clean and Well Lighted. Cozy/Comfortable/happy Atmosphere. Owner and Staff are always courteous and Welcoming. A comfortable place for everyone. English and Spanish speaking. Healthy food choices. Large portions so appetites large and small are easily satisfied; dishes can be easily shared - especially helpful to know with children. People of Cranford and surrounding areas need to know about El Paso Tex-Mex Grill. I placed a very large order over the phone for my office and everything was exactly as requested - no mistakes.

It was evident, as other reviewers have said, that the food is fresh and made to order, and offered in hefty portions for an astonishing price that makes me feel like I am taking more than I paid for. The ingredients are not sitting behind a glass wall for hours on end, succumbing to the dullness of tin serving trays (like a leading franchise). I ordered the Don Chuy Chicken Burrito and the Al Pastor Tacos. The food did not lack flavor, moisture, color or purpose. Each ingredient was diligently placed in each dish to create the ultimate burst of flavor on every taste bud.

Oh, and to top it off, the homemade chips and salsa were a great hit. Not greasy, yet full of flavor.

We started with Guacamole & Chips. The Guacamole was fresh, simply seasoned, with chunks of avocado!

I had the Shrimp Tacos, perfection - like tasting Summer in Cancun.

Phil had the chicken & steak quesadilla Phenomenal!

We shared rice and beans - perfect accompaniment to our light dinners.

We rounded out the meal with coffees with (With warm milk) and an order of Churros. Crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside and the perfect balance of cinnamon & sugar!

Mexican food was a staple in my house growing up because of a woman named Sue Kivett, a Mexican woman who was a hospital roommate of my mom's when I was a baby.
