The Cranford Social — Attraction in Cranford

If you want to host an amazing, elegant, effortless event, I HIGHLY recommend The Cranford Social! From start to finish, their team provided friendly, professional, impeccable service! We worked with Trish, John, Michelle, Paul and Riley. They were helpful, flexible and accommodating, every step of the way! Our guests LOVED the food and drinks, as well as the venue itself, which is immaculate and has beautiful large windows, with a lovely view overlooking the river! As the venue is on the second floor, it was nice that they have an elevator, especially for some of our older guests. What was most impressive though, and what sets The Cranford Social apart, is their team! They clearly love what they do! They were warm and gracious, treating all of our guests like part of their family. They assisted us in every way, from set-up (i.e., helping us with decorations that we brought to the venue) to clean-up. As our event was a bridal shower, there was a lot of ongoing clean-up (tissue paper, bows, etc.), so they helped us to keep the floor clear throughout the event. They also kindly provided lovely background music (of our choosing!) and a microphone, so that we could more easily communicate with all of our guests and keep the event on track. It was a blessing to work with John and Trish, who guided us with the event planning, and who were responsive via email and phone whenever we had a question! We had my daughter's Sweet 16 at The Cranford Social last night. We did a Casino Night themed party and it was absolutely amazing. Everyone had such a fabulous time. The space was perfect for our event and the food was ample and also excellent, there were plenty of drinks, and the whole staff at the Cranford Social was very attentive and courteous and made everything run smoothly and perfectly with the DJ, photo booth, the casino games and other things going on at the party. John was the most amazing host. He was so kind and patient with me throughout the planning stages even while I was stressing planning an event with 66 teenagers and 38 adults. He even met with me like 5 times(at my requests ) to let my vendors and decorators walk through the venue. He sent me floor plans and allowed us to come in 3 hours before the party to set up and decorate. He was even working himself throughout the party, clearing plates off tables and making sure all the guests had everything they needed and were having a great time. During the planning stages whenever I started to get a little stressed out, John was so upbeat and patient and kept reassuring me that it would be the best Sweet 16 ever...and I think it was😊. My Mom hosted my bridal shower at The Cranford Social this past Saturday, and I must say, it was an absolutely fantastic experience! The venue's ambiance is stunning, and the flexibility to decorate the room according to my preferences was a major highlight.

One standout feature was the allowance of open-flamed candles, adding a beautiful touch to the atmosphere. Trish and John were remarkable hosts, ensuring everything ran smoothly on the day of the shower. John's attentive presence, constantly checking on guests and ensuring my comfort, made the event truly special. Paul the bartender was amazing with making sure our guests always had a drink in their hand! The servers and entire staff were absolutely exceptional in helping with anything and everything.

The lunch buffet exceeded expectations, offering a delightful array of flavors that left everyone satisfied. The inclusion of a signature cocktail and the thoughtful gesture of serving mimosas and sangria to guests upon arrival added an extra layer of hospitality.
