4 just because it is nice to walk along the river (other than that this is pretty bare bones stuff - but that is OK). No facilities and a pretty small open area. The Trail is maintained ok, they clear trees but it is a dirt path. There is only a few points where you can get down to the actual river, sometimes there is a steep drop - so be careful with the kids. On the other side of the river is all backyards which was kind of nice on a holiday weekend (hearing music, smelling the outdoor fires). The trail ends at the train (you can go on a little from there but I doubt it is legal). For a local jaunt tucked away on a dead end street it can't be beat (plenty of street parking). There are a couple of benches and that is about the extent of the amenities... so, this is really not one to drive to from afar, but if you are local? Not a bad little spot at all (and the town itself is great if you are unfamiliar). There is something soothing about listening to the river and the train passing through. I spotted a Blue Heron and a White Heron (could have been an Egret, not sure, too far away) so there is some wildlife...
