Millennium Park is one of my favorite places to visit! The park is easy to reach but when you're there, you feel far from the busyness of life. There's an asphalt walking trail that is roughly 2 km in length around the perimeter of the park. Along the trail are memorials for veterans and a wildflower garden. There is a playground, a splash ground, swings, a picnic shelter, a baseball diamond, a soccer field, and a historical place called the Tappmeyer house. I'm a Pokémon Go player and this park has 3 pokemon gyms and a handful of pokestops. The parking lot is spacious with plenty of parking spaces. It seems I always see some wildlife there, including birds, squirrels, rabbits, and deer. Great place for all ages and many activities. Read moreThis park is nestled right behind the BJC medical center. Once you drive in a bit more, you'll see the Millennium Park. There's ample parking at this park and lots of activities for the kids to play with... From slides, to swings, to monkey bars, this place has it. There's even picnic tables there for you to enjoy your lunch or just to chit chat with your friends. A soccer field is also present there for you to get your soccer game going with your friends or family. Then around the perimeter of the park is a nice walking path....
Read moreIt was a beautiful park. My only complaint is that it is hard to find. My children enjoyed playing there. It was moderately crowded, which was nice. There were enough children for my children and others to play with each other, but not so many that they couldn't enjoy the park.
They also have a small fenced in spray park. It was not on when we went earlier this year even though it was super hot. That was due to the parks and recs opening schedule so it should be open now. Overall, we enjoyed the park and had a...
