Chicken Salad Chick — Restaurant in Creve Coeur

Their chicken salad is amazing, and I was extremely impressed with their service. We arrived right when they opened and ordered a sandwich on toast. They had forgotten to turn on the industrial toaster (easy to forget, I've done the same thing before at a food service job) and those take awhile to heat up. We really didn't mind, as we weren't in a hurry, and just politely told them it was alright, don't worry about it, just bring it out when it's ready. They gave us free soup while we waited, which was delicious, and it still didn't take that long. The kitchen manager brought out probably $40 in little cards to redeem there in the future for our wait. We were amazed. I've been back many times even after we used all of our free item cards. Lesson to the world about dealing with problems when you go out to eat: don't freak out or be rude to your waiter, cashier, etc. It's not that big of a deal. It is a "champagne problem". 99 percent of the time they are trying their best to make you happy. And most of the time, if you have some empathy and tell your waiter not to worry, give them a smile and allow them to relax, they will go above and beyond to resolve the issue immediately and maybe give you something...

Ran across this place and gave it a shot at lunch hour, the location is bright and clean, when I walked in it was a bit of a line but (6 people) but I waited only 2 minutes tops, perfect amount of time to view the menu, when I approached the counter I was greeted and checked out in no time, by the time I finished making my drink at the fountain my order was up. (Nice) I ordered to go but considered taking advantage of the patio area. I needed to go back to work so I ate in the car. I ordered the meal getting 2 salads (Fancy Nancy and Kickin’ Kay Lynne ). My total seemed a bit pricey but was well worth it. I tried ordering online 48 hours in advance for catering and the system would not let me. So, I did as the website suggested and called the location. When I called to make the order for 21 people the girl who answered was seemingly pleasant, that is till we went to hang up and she forgot to . I was working with my earbuds and was delayed in hanging up. The girl started mimicking our call "can I get a catering order" then went on to say how much she hates customer's , she hates fast food , and cannot wait to get out of the business. I decided not to say anything as we are all allowed to vent especially when you think no one can hear you. HOWEVER, when I went to go get my food, the person ringing me out said RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME "I just started and I am already annoyed with large orders". I casually walked out and not say a word.
