My first 2 out of the 3 visits were superb! The location is ALWAYS clean! The Ladies bathroom is actually fit for a lady and her baby. My first visit was good and had no complaints and tipped $3 because he was so charming and fast paced all while letting me and my guy try the custard cream. My second visit was beyond spectacular! I loved her and she was so quick and helpful. She would predict my solutions before i could ask the question. I wanted the specialty banana bread creation and a waffle bowl, though i didnt want the creation in the bowl as i wanted to eat my treat at home and my zipcode area is 63121 quite far from this frozen treat gem. So she offered to wrap the waffle for before i could asked. She also allowed me to choose my pecan caramel apple and asked me if i wanted it sliced before i could ask her. She was masterful! I gave her a $6 tip on top of what my guy tipped her. She was why i drive out to this particular cold stone.

Upon my 3rd visit i was sadly disappointed. The guy was not the friendliest, i continued my order a repeat of the banana bread special creation and a pecan caramel apple. Unlike the second time i was not given a choice of apple and having asked for my apple to be sliced, he took the apple to the back and he returned a bit later and i paid for my order. I stupidly declined the receipt thinking i would have no need for it. Getting in the car, i immediately tear into my apple bag for tart and gooey treat but discover that it was not sliced at all. Well I'll wait til i get home. Upon getting home i decided to eat my custard treat instead and refrigerate the apple for tomorrow. Tomorrow never came for that apple, as i took it out the bag and sliced into the i discovered it was molded at the center core.

Disgusted i called the store and reported the issue, the current employee would have to reach out to the owner and so i had to wait. In the meantime my guy had left a review about the experience. The owner called me back and immediately rectified the entire situation. I had only requested the refund of the apple since that was the only thing not eaten but as a courtesy to my bad experience, he had refunded the entire purchase. I've never seen a businessman so invested in his customer to reach to them personally to right any wrong doing at their establishment. Thank you for turning this bad...

If you would like a quick stop and get a small cone (or something readily available), my experience had been great. When it comes to ordering birthday cakes, I think it is time for me to drive to Lake St. Louis branch to ensure the cake is ordered appropriately and wouldn't be misinformed by staff. Literally about an hour ago, walked in to get a couple of kid's size ice cream and order a custom birthday cake. While the ice cream was great, the ordering custom cake was the last drop in the bucket. I was unable to do so, as the young lady (coming from the back of the shop) informed me that "you would have to do it online - we don't do cake orders in the shop anymore". I guess this is my fault - I didn't check her claim to "order it online". While you are able to order "a cake" online, there are limits - for example, you can't order "licensed character" cakes, which they did have it in store to choose from. For the past few years, my orders had been messed up; forgetting the licensed character on the cake, to just minor things that was fixed on the spot (with the exception of order that didn't actually contain what we asked for - Oreo crumbles in the chocolate mix). Even then, I wasn't going to make a bid deal out of it. However, the pure ignorance of the staff left me with a very bitter taste. (I mean, if you don't know how to order a cake, admit it and I'll stop by at a later time. Don't just tell me something that is not true.) Took my daughter there today to get ice cream and there were 3 girls working behind the counter. The girl with the ginger color hair waited on us and I told my daughter to go first. My daughter ordered Chocolate Devotion and another lady came in behind us and got an ice cream cake out the freezer and heads to the counter. So the girl that’s making my daughter’s ice cream finishes and places it on the counter and then proceeds to deal with the woman with the cake who wants some thing written on the cake while I’m still standing here to get my part of the order taken and made, she proceeds to talk to her coworkers about the cake who never once stopped what they were doing to assist anyone and then walks the cake to the back. At that point I asked to speak to a manager which I was told was too busy to speak to me and was asked why I wanted to speak to the manager and I advised that our ordered wasn’t completed before the young lady stopped to help the lady that came after me. That was so unprofessional and rude as if my money wasn’t spending the same as the lady with the cake. The ginger haired girl says oh I didn’t know you wanted anything which is ridiculous because all she had to do was ask if I wanted anything else but she choose to let my daughter’s ice cream start melting and if she thought the order was done she would’ve cashed us out before assisting the lady that came after us with the cake.
