I walked into the store with a particular watch in mind to purchase. True to the website, it was available. Paul greeted my wife and I and we chatted for a few minutes about what I was looking for. After putting some wrist time with the watch I came for, it just didn't feel right to me. Paul took the time to figure out what I may like and began showing me pieces to consider. He literally spent hours with us and at no point was I pressured to buy anything in particular. I felt like I went around the watch world trying different styles, sizes, and manufacturers that I never would have considered, but am glad I did. I felt like Paul was helping me buy the right watch, not just selling me something. I narrowed down my choices and told Paul I needed a night to think it over. He was very understanding and I returned the next day when they opened and picked it up. He sized it on the spot and I have not taken it off my wrist since. I’m sure you will have a fair experience if you walk in and announce that you are looking to purchase an expensive item from them. However, I went there to facilitate the purchase of an Omega Sapphire Sandwich ($8,000 watch ) from a customer of theirs who purchased the watch from them the previous year.

I wanted to get authentication, appraisal, and maybe a sizing performed. They quoted me $150 for the service, but both the client and I had time restraints. After conducting the watch transaction, I stepped outside the store and rearranged my schedule in order to make time for appraisal and sizing. When I walked back into the store, I patiently waited for any associate to approach me and ask if I needed assistance. They all seemed disinterested and ultimately skipped over me and offered assistance to the new two incoming customers.

I didn’t want to jump to conclusions, I thought maybe these customers had appointments, but while listening to their conversations, I learned that both customers were walk ins. I waited a few moments and attempted to make I contact with the gentleman who originally assisted me and he was consciously avoiding me.

Anyway, I left and decided to take my business elsewhere. I had an eye on a Grand Seiko and was willing to purchase it from them that day, but I didn't feel like the customer service...
