I am giving it two stars because my kid liked the wave pool. The gift shop was highly overpriced for dollar store items. Spent $21 on goggles that broke within an hour and of course no exchange or refund. The lazy river was horrible they only provide like 5 to 6 floats for the entire park to use so basically you have to fight for one. The lazy river is 3 ft so without a float you basically just walking around in the water which is basically pointless for a lazy river. The kids play area needs better life guards. They spent more time talking to each other than they did facilitating. Kids were coming down the sides and tumbling onto other kids including babies while the life guards stood by and watched and did nothing. It’s not recommended for babies or toddlers under 3 if you ask me. The cafe and its staff customer service is horrible. One slice of pizza chips and small drink is $12 plus tax $10 for just one slice. So we end up ordering a whole pizza for $20 since would be the same price or more had we gotten the meal or slice for each kid. Did I say the staff was rude I do mean rude especially at the pickup window. We asked the girl if they had any parmesan cheese for the pizza the girl at the window responded so rudely No and immediately closed the window in my face in the middle of me talking to her. When she finally came back to the window we asked for 4 plates for the kids. She rudely responded no and to eat out of the box plates are only for single slice pizza. $22 on a pizza and I couldn’t even get any plates for my kids to eat on is ridiculous. Had my kids not been hungry I would have asked for a refund. Today was dive in movie night where they make you leave at 7pm and pay $10 each to get back in at 7:30 pm to watch the movie in the wave pool. I was considering staying and paying again but due to my poor service we received at the cafe we ended up leaving early and will not be returning to this establishment again. I highly do not recommend visiting this place it’s not worth the money we paid $70 to get in. We would have been better off going to a splash park or even the community pools for $6.

While this place is relatively affordable, the staff seemed poorly trained and inconsistent with their rules. My daughter had used the slides several times without any issue, but once the staff shift changed, she was suddenly told she couldn’t use the slides because her cotton shorts weren’t allowed. One staff member even asked her to remove her shorts, which was completely inappropriate. She tried a different slide, but then another employee claimed her cotton top was the issue and asked her to take that off as well. When I questioned the inconsistency, I was told that the previous staff “didn’t know the rules,” which is quite alarming. If safety rules are that important, every employee should be trained properly and enforce them consistently. My daughter was disappointed and simply said, “It’s okay, Dad, we can leave and never come back to this cheap place.” Unfortunately, this experience left a very negative impression. Poor communication, inconsistent enforcement, and inappropriate requests from staff made this visit uncomfortable and frustrating.

Today we hosted our daughter's birthday party at Denton Water Works and were extremely disappointed with how the event was handled (the park itself is great!). While we understand that mistakes can happen, the real issue was the poor internal communication and lack of professionalism from several staff members—especially one supervisor with pink hair (loved the hair, not the attitude) who was shockingly rude and confrontational.

Despite having a contract and paying for an all-inclusive experience, we were flat-out denied entry at our scheduled start time and my wife was disappointed that the decorations she had worked so hard on couldn't be set up before the first guests arrived. Multiple staff members were kind yet clearly confused about the party entry location, and setup. Two (one at the giftshop) refused to contact a manager when issues arose. Several of our paid guests were initially turned away, then misdirected twice to the wrong area.

Later were eventually given a cabana—only to find it was already rented to someone else. After this was acknowledged as their mistake, the same supervisor not only failed to apologize but actually yelled at my wife in front of our guests. The unprofessionalism and disorganization from start to finish were unacceptable for what was marketed and priced as a premium experience.

Again, we don’t take issue with honest mistakes—but the lack of ownership, coordination, and lack of respect was appalling. The experience fell far below what was promised, and we hope management will take this seriously. We would welcome the opportunity to discuss...

Pretty good overall. The park is pretty small, even smaller than Hawaiian Falls but the cheap admission makes up for that. They have a wave pool, lazy river, a kid area / splash pad type thing and four water slides. The tallest water slide (the teal and blue one) is surprisingly fast and intense. You’ll catch some serious G’s on it if you’re 150 lbs or more. It will press you against the walls really hard. I do also like that the wait for the slides is never long so you can ride over and over. The wave pool is nice and decently large with good wave intensity though only goes to about 4 ft 6” deep or so, the lazy river is solid but again rather shallow and not very long. The lockers are cheap at only $5. For what it is, it’s a good park, just don’t expect anything too crazy. Also wish the kids area had more. It’s basically just two small slides, a tunnel and some water spraying elements. I was irritated cause today we bought food (frito pies) and they came out entirely cold after an almost 20 min wait. They were out of almost everything. Even souvenir cups. Lastly, why do they close at 6?? It’s all that’s stopping me from getting a season pass. I don’t know of any other water park that closes so early. It’s...
