I wish I could post separately for each aspect because, maintenance and office staff would get five stars. I would like to point out that a lot, if not all of the reviews that are 5 stars, are people who just got a tour. They DON'T ACTUALLY LIVE HERE. We moved here in June. It was so nice at first then people moved in above us. At first, we thought they were moving furniture. We kept hearing it nightly at super late times. They recently bought a puppy who now makes all sorts of wonderful noises. We also hear noises coming from both of our side neighbors and any music with a lot of bass. Heads up for anyone who wants to go to a new property that looks just like this one; it will most likely be the worst constructed building possible. No soundproofing, NONE. Not even carpeted 2nd and 3rd floors, which should be mandatory if you cheap out on sound proofing insulation. Of course, it's the builder's fault but TAM needs to do something about it and please don't actually fall for any reply from TAM to this comment - they have done nothing despite complaints. It's not TAM on property employees' fault who have to work for this money grubbing company whose owners and board members have the luxury of not being woken up to their neighbors having sex at 3:00 am or random clog dancing routines throughout the night. The cheapness and quality of the apartment can hardly be considered "luxury". Apartment wise, the only thing it has going for it is that it has more livable space, due to no balconies, which may be why they were able to cheap out on thinner materials between apartment floors, and cabinet space in the kitchen. From the paint they used down to the quality of doors and the tubs and the vanities in the bathroom, is very basic and blah. Random blotches of paint are splattered everywhere in this apartment. Onto Tam as a residential company. Most apartment companies have monthly activities for the residents. In the amount of time we have been here there have been a total of 3 activities and not one damn activity has been paid for by the management company. They had two events where a boutique came with their goods and lured you into their shady "event" with promises of "water and drinks". LMAO! So you're too greedy to do your own resident activities so you have a shop come in and peddle goods to residents. SMH, Tam can and should do better. That's a sorry a&# resident activity and frankly, TAM should be embarrassed. This used to have a different apartment name and TAM decided to change it to HIGHTONE despite no one knew what the F&%$ that meant. That's fine though, whatever. It's the way they did it that is just more demonstration of the way this management company is profits first. The sign right in front, the sign everyone sees is just a cloth banner covering the old name of the apartment and yes, we notice, TAM, it looks tacky. It's the first thing people see and it says a lot about your need to cut corners. Nickel and diming. If you want to live here be prepared to be upcharged. They just recently added a charge for valet trash pickup for around $20/month. Those who signed a lease previously are not charged YET and are probably looking to make that money up somewhere so they have floated the idea of making assigned parking for a monthly fee. But, if you sign another lease you can bet you'll be paying for the valet trash pick up in addition to the trash service fee they already charge. Having their internet is mandatory and it's $70 and I am sure they get a bulk discount on top of the fact that if you were to get their required internet, Frontier, on your own it would be $20/month. We are counting down the days until our lease is over and every month that goes by we celebrate knowing that the end of our...
Read moreI want to start out by saying these are the worst apartments that you could ever move into. Every little thing they will tow you even if you’re a resident and then if you park in there so-called EV parking stations which they don’t even have marked where the EV parking station is, you will get towed And have to pay at least $225 to get your vehicle out. They don’t even have the parking spot next to the EV parking station marked as a EV parking, but they will tow you if you park there. They say because there is a sign there that you should know, but I’m also posting a picture of the sign and if you look, can you really tell that it’s for EV parking station? They work with the towing company to basically tow as many vehicles as possible every day and scam everyone out of money and I’m pretty sure the apartments and the tow company are making a huge profit off of this. They also don’t tell you that you have to register a visitor on a website and they have to park all the way in the back where it says visitor and then that person has to walk all the way down several buildings to get to where they’re going if it’s not close Also I have had a huge problem with my neighbor making so much noise by stomping and banging and sounding like she’s rolling a bowling ball for the last 6 months. I have spoken with the office and they said that management would contact me and they never have. I have listened to six months of my neighbor doing this and the office has done nothing about it. The apartments keep saying to communicate with them, but they never even contact me and when I try to go into the office to speak with someone then they say I’m being unprofessional and won’t speak with me. They gave me the silent treatment. Now the apartment complex is terminating my lease after six months when I’m supposed to have a year lease just because they say that I’m not being professional with them and have called the police on the neighbor and also yelling and cursing. they have not given me any proof that I have done any of this. They knew I was having major surgery and the day after my surgery, they put a notice on my door that they’re terminating my lease. What kind of people do that? The walls are also so thin that you hear everything. This is the worst place you could ever live. If you want to live in a place that scams you and doesn’t treat you right as a resident and does these things to you then definitely move here but if you don’t want to go through this, I definitely would not advise to move here. This is the worst apartment complex I’ve ever lived in my whole life. I’m pretty sure they’re going to respond and make themselves look like they’re so perfect and I’m a horrible tenant but just look at a lot of the reviews what people have said about this place. They’re the type of people that pretend to be nice, but then once you move in, you’re going to regret it right away. Also inside the closet where the water heater is, it looks like somebody did a horrible jacked up job and there’s bugs all over the place. It’s disgusting and looks unsafe. They also have pipes all over the place sticking out, which is super dangerous. If you’re thinking about living here, I would really consider it because there are too many negatives versus positives over this apartment complex. They don’t put their residence first they put money first. And if you don’t do exactly what they want, they will kick you out because you’re inconvenient for them and then they’re mine cause trouble and they make up things about you. That...
Read moreBE AWARE they charge you for painting when you move out. That's right I said painting. That is a wear and tear item. Especially after living there for over 2 years. They are supposed to paint yet they charge you. This is a charge on top of any repairs for damage. In the lease it states "You will be charged for cleaning that is soiled beyond normal wear and tear." NOWHERE DOES IT STATE YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR PAINTING THE ENTIRE APARTMENT. And it wasn't just us. We have 4 different friends that lived in these apartments and the same thing happened to them. We hung a small amount of items that caused holes which we repaired. In the bedroom only 2 frames were hung that did not need repairs only a very small amount of hole filler yet were are being charged to "PAINT ENTIRE APARTMENT. The reason they charge you for the paint is because this paint used on these apartments was extremely cheap. If you hang a picture you see the entire picture outline after you remove it. We had to go around with a mr. clean white eraser getting all the marks off (WHICH WE DID) I have photos of us doing so yet again still charged for painting the entire apartment. I have lived in apartments my entire adult life and never once have I ever seen this. I will be fighting this considering I have all proof and documentation and ALWAYS take photos. An entire apartment paint should not be charged to the tenant when there are no significant damages. We lived here for over 2 years. We were one of the first tenants to move in once they were built. They are beautiful apartments but they are not taken care of at all. The breezeways are disgusting. Smelling horrible because people leave their trash leaking all day out in front of their doors. And then do not clean up the leaks and just leave them. Dog hair in piles as well as trash and spider webs. People do not pick up their dog poop and it is just left there for weeks on end. And do not get me started on the thin walls. I mean ok yes, it's an apartment you will hear things but the fact I can hear someone coughing lol um no. That's when you know the walls are thin. It is supposed to be a luxury apartment but the materials used to build this so-called luxury were as cheap as can be. And if you live downstairs be ready to be awake at all hours to the dogs upstairs from you running around playing. As well as the people walking upstairs. Sounds like elephants stomping. If you have a neighbor that has a dog that barks good luck. You'll never...
