Only took 1 visit with my daughter and now I'm hooked! Great form of retail therapy and also satisfies my "me time" needs. Sandy and her Daughter are simply great. They help show you ideas without steering you, which allows your own creativity to flow. I started going in Sept and worked myself through a gnome jar that I fill with mini marshmallows and a set of 6 hot cocoa mugs for my family to enjoy during the holidays. Some visits I left wondering if I was going to even like the piece I left behind but after they work their magic with glaze and firing, I always loved them at picking up!
They are adhering to strict covid protocol right now and I greatly appreciate this. I have brought pieces home since seating is limited. Thought I wouldn't like bringing home but have since realized it's just as enjoyable. I do miss seeing the staff there but I'm holding out that in time life will revert back and we will all be able to come together again and paint our pieces side by side.
Great place, great staff, fabulous customer service! Thank you...
Read moreMy husband surprised me for my birthday and took me and my daughter here for a fun outing. The experience itself was great, and my 9 year old daughter was incredibly proud of the piece she painted and could not wait to pick it up in a week. We received a call the next day that both mine and my daughters pieces were accidentally dropped and broke. When I called to request a full refund, I was told that they would only refund the 2 pieces that broke, not even the sitting fee, and that I could come back in to repaint them. Not only is this a complete inconvenience as I now have to go back in and repaint the pieces, but I have to explain to my 9 year old that the piece she was so excited and proud of was broken. I understand that accidents happen, but make it right with your customers. Apologize, refund them for the ENTIRE experience, and offer a complimentary session for the next visit. Will never come back, and do...
Read moreThey do not follow the hours listed on their website and location. I brought my 8 month old with me to make a memory piece for his dad for Father’s Day. My son usually loves being out but started crying and I couldn’t console him despite trying multiple things. They were very busy and I didn’t want to ruin anyone’s experience so I decided it was best to leave in order to help my son and not ruin the atmosphere of the shop. I apologized to the girl working and asked if I could prepay for my piece and come back a few hours later to complete it. She said yes and I confirmed the store hours before leaving so I knew what time I could return. I found a sitter for my baby and went back to complete my art and the shop was locked. I was told they do not allow anyone in after a certain time even though I was not told this earlier that day even after confirming they were...
