There's this lady at the counter the minute you go in asking you if your buying or not to ignore you... my wife said we're just looking for more we had our 3 boys with us ... they ended up wanting icecram we ask her politely to get us some icream and reply I had asked you before I'll be there shortly... (she was on the phone all the time since we got there) as she's getting our ice cream and DOESN'T put gloves NOR washes her hands... my wife says don't worry it has paper on the bottom... we get the ice cream to the kids and she leaves to talk to someone she knows who was on the back ... we are waiting to pay... we pay and one of my toddlers mentions the funky smell the other one the mess they have (not swiped, dust and mess all over) she over heard and said we're remodeling... (we've past every weekend and no they didn't nor a decoration for xmas) ... My husband doesn't feel well Few hours ... 2 days past and we all got sick from our stomach one by one : VOMITING, Fever, STOMACH PAIN, CRAMPS and DIARRHEA ... Not a place I would recommend or try again. I walked in after my husband had placed his order and stepped out to watch our dog so I could order. Inside, there was one customer who was finished and chatting with a woman who appeared to be the owner, I was the only other customer waiting. No one acknowledged my presence for over 7 minutes. I watched as one employee, who was making the banana split my husband ordered looked incredibly confused, stood staring at a dish with a banana in it for several minutes. She then put it down and picked up a cup. During this time the owner left without even looking at me and did not recognize that her employee was clearly confused. I had to tell them I also wanted to order. The employee then handed me a cup that contained 2 small scoops of ice cream, a few slices of banana and whip cream that didn't fill the cup. When I asked about it, she said she was confused because she said he described a banana royal not a banana split and this was it. Yesterday on our way home from vacation my wife, our son, and I stopped for ice cream. She got double scoop chocolate waffle cone. My son and I got chocolate milk shake. The milk shake was NASTY! Tasted like it had spoiled milk in it! We got it to go so we were driving when I took the first drink of it and that was the only drink I had. Wish I'd had bought a smaller size since I wasted my money Edited from here down. The very fast response and politeness of the owner along with the want to make things right makes me feel they atleast deserve 3 stars as I can only assume it was just a "bad scoop" and not a bad place. I won't be calling to have them send a check as that isn't necessary. Them offering to do that alone shows me that money went to a good owner and my hope is that instead they will use that money and pay it forward and give someone else a free shake.
