Better Than Before Consignments — Attraction in Cullman

I won’t be back.

The only thing nice I can say about this place is at least their jeans are a decent price— the lowest I saw was $12 and up. Now with that being said the prices of everything else is absolutely ridiculous. This store is marking as “high end” consignments with basic stuff I could get at any store for way cheaper. For example a cow print bag was listed for $89.00 and I have that exact same bag I bought for $30.00 at a different store in July of 2022. I would be more inclined to shop here if they offered consignment items that weren’t something I could find just as easily at Walmart.

I also would like to mention the amount of judgmental and harsh looks I received from staff and customers alike. I do not dress crazy but I did happen to go into this store without makeup, and I was wearing platform boots and a lot of black. No I am not goth/emo/alt just an average person nothing elaborate. No comment was said to me and I was thankfully ignored other then the constant stares. Very uncomfortable vibe though, would not come back unless some major...

Better than Before is a consignment shop with 2 locations. One in Cullman, Alabama and another in Decatur, Alabama! I have been shopping at Better than Before for many years. I have never had a Bad experience. They have Beautiful upscale clothing and shoes for the whole family. They also have handbags and the Decatur location has home decor! Name brands at affordable prices! Sonya Whaley Nix and her staff at both locations go above and beyond to make sure the customers are happy and are always willing to help. When you shop at BTB you become part of the family! I'm blessed to be part of this group! If you can't go to the stores, you can watch the online videos they have daily and shop! They are fun! If you haven't tried BTB you are missing out!...

I have been buying online through the BTB website as well as through Facebook live videos for over three years now. I live several states away and only twice have I encountered an issue, both of which were minor. Sonya took care of it immediately. To be honest, she and her staff always provide 150% in customer service!!!! Not only is she an honest and trustworthy businesswoman, she's very sweet, funny and personable. Her staff is always willing to help, and my only complaint is that I don't live closer to shop in person!! If you aren't buying from BTB - WHY NOT?? If you live far away, get on Facebook or their website...... So many...
