We had a party of four for lunch on a Friday. We arrived early and were seated immediately. Our server was very friendly and helpful although not fully knowledgeable about wines. The bartender stepped up and helped us with our wine selection. The facility is new and very well decorated as well as clean. The menu is small but the selections seem chef inspired with an Asian flair and everything we had was well presented and tasted good. The standout was the shrimp wonton nachos. Serving sizes were plentiful. We will be going back!

Update March 2019 412 continues to deliver the tasty goods! The latest offering is a brisket sandwich that is amazing. Folks this sandwich is big enough to split for two. There is at least 3/4 lb of tender juicy brisket. I’m not sure but I think it was corned beef. It was definitely smoked and had a bark on it for sure. The crab dip was also delicious. Quite tasty, served with crispy fried wontons. The folks at the next table were British and also got the brisket. I don’t know how one person can eat one of these but they did!! It was like the server brought it and woof woof it was gone!!
Give 412 a try. You won’t be dissatisfied.

Update June 2023 Over time we grew a little tired of the same menu, not that anything was bad. Recently we heard that they updated their menu so we stopped in for lunch and found a much more efficient and formally managed, yet still casual 412. It seems they have acquired some better folks to work there which means to me that it is also well managed. There's one gentleman at the window where the food comes out and he is facilitating and making sure the orders come out and the plating is good. The food came out quickly and was great. Robert was our server and he was super friendly and very knowledgeable of the menu.
The caesar salad with chicken was great but didnt compare to the Gouda Burger, which might mention has been on the menu since the start. The sweet potato fries were stand outs being perfectly cooked, mushy inside and crispy outside.
We will definitely be going back.

Read moreWe came for Sunday Brunch and I didn’t love the chicken and waffles but I didn’t hate them either. The chicken was spicy, and was served with apple butter syrup, whipped cream and powdered sugar. It was made with quality ingredients and was fresh and I probably would have liked the various components individually but combined the flavors seemed not to compliment each other - your mileage may vary. My wife ordered the bananas foster and she loved it saying it was the best restaurant meal she had in a long time. My kids each ordered the donuts but a short while later we were informed that the kitchen only had enough batter left for one order. We subsequently ordered some biscuits to replace the donut order and while it was disappointing to not be able to order what you want off a pretty limited menu the children said both donuts and biscuits were excellent. We had a discussion about everyone at the table getting to taste the donuts but somehow they were consumed by the kids before the adults got to try so I’ll have to assume the children’s assessment that they were excellent is accurate.
The biscuits were buttery, fluffy and salty and with a crispy exterior that just worked. All agreed they were very good. When we asked for some butter for the biscuits it was served melted in a ramekin which was odd but also oddly worked well with the biscuits.
For some reason unknown to me the restaurant decided to close an hour early and turned away numerous disappointed parties.
The service was pretty good. We got the feeling our waitress was new as she had to check on a lot of things she should know but she was attentive, pleasant, polite and professional and put forth good effort. If I were hiring, I’d definitely pick her up because she will be a top notch performer in short order.
Lastly, we were able to sit outside with our well behaved dog which is much appreciated.
Bottom line, we would recommend this place and...
Read moreThe food is good. I wish I enjoyed it here more. I truly wanted this to be a go to place for when company came to town. Unfortunately, it is definitely not a place you can go have a conversation. It is way too loud for that. The dining area is quite small and feels crowded, even when the tables aren't all filled. The service both times we have gone has been incredibly slow. Our waitress this most recent visit was incredibly inattentive and downright unpleasant. We had our appetizers finished before we were given the opportunity to order our entrees. Once they were up at the pass, they sat there for a good few minutes while she walked back and forth past them at least 3 times without even noticing they were there. This all while our 17 month old was getting incredibly hungry and antsy to eat. We were also celebrating my husband's birthday, and I don't know if they do anything for birthdays or not, but when we told the waitress to find out, she just gave a snide smirk, rolled her eyes, and walked away. It didn't end there, though. Once we had finished eating, it was at least 10 minutes of sitting waiting for her to bring the check before we finally were able to catch her to beg for it. Then it was another 10 before we finally got her to take the payment. It was not terribly busy at the time we were there, and the other 2 tables she was responsible for were only ordering drinks by this point, so there was no reason for the wait time we experienced. Needless to say, we have been incredibly disappointed each time we have gone. I truly hope they can work out some of the kinks that are holding then back from being a true destination place to eat, since their food...
