I love my therapist Cindi and her little dog. However I use a cane. To walk into the building itself is a hassle. You park around back. I have OCD to some extent. Several times there is just no place to park. I've had to park on the opposite side of the street. I have a bad back and a bad knee. It is about 200 steps to get to the office itself. I can't lift my leg on high places and have to walk around the parking lot to get to a low spot so I can reach the ramp. I have asthma too so often it's hard to get up the ramp. Then there are a bunch of stairs that I have to maneuver. To reach the landing. For a few freaky seconds there's no handrail to get me to the door. It is about 100 steps to the office. Cullman Psychiatry has no bathroom so it's another 54 steps from their office to the bathroom, and 54 steps back to their office. I get winded. My back curls over to the side as it cramps. My knee is in throbbing pain. It's hard to get there with so many handicaps on you. And in the heat the walk...
