Read moreGreat place for deals, not as good as it used to be, but every now and then you score a good one. 06/06/20------You're welcome! Please do away with the black stickers. You jack up the price and then make it so you have no chance of ever getting a discount on some of the nicest stuff. Used to be you had a shot at getting something really awesome for a deep discount. Now not so much. A couple years ago I could roll in there and grab a nice set of clothes, from shoes to jacket, for $10-$15... Now the only thing in that range is worn out, threadbare, or with holes in it. I wouldn't mind paying $30 for a used pair of Ariat boots, but not worn out ones that'll have to be resoled soon. Or $20 for a pair of carhartts with the knees blown out, I remember getting a pair of brand new looking carhartts for $5 a couple years ago, haven't found a deal like that in a long time. My wife and I joke about the "crazy price tag lady" whoever you are, and how you've been busy again, cause sometimes it's just rediculous. But the black stickers are the worst. There's nothing worse than seeing a piece of furniture you like that's way expensive, then waiting a couple weeks for the color to go on sale, only to come in and see the sticker has been changed to a black sticker and now has no chance of ever being discounted. That's just the worst. I understand you guys are using the store to fund excellent and very honorable things, that I support completely!! I just wish it would go back to the way...
I’ve shopped here for over a year, been an okay-ish store with overpriced things here and there, some deals. Last two times I’ve been pretty much solidified on not coming back. One time my girlfriend was harassed by one of the employees, and when a manager was told about it she seemed to care less. This most recent visit consisted of us asking if we could test a sewing machine and was given the sassy answer of, “Yeah go ahead but it’s got an electronics tag on it it’s been tested” by the same manager. When it had an “as-is” tag… Pretty obvious people would want to test it. It didn’t work so go figure. I then asked two separate employees if they had any in the back which the manager lady interjected, rudely once again, telling them not to bother with it and that there weren’t any back there. We felt unjustifiably targeted and won’t be back. Some employees in the past have been really nice but aren’t...
Read moreOh my word, this place is overpriced! These items are donated at no cost and their prices on furniture, used and mostly damaged, are priced like a full blown retailer. They leave the original tags on new items and price them higher than the amount on the tag! Dropped off a donation and drove around back. I wouldn't recommend it unless you are wanting to replace your tires or get an alignment. There is trash, broken glass, and the road is completely damaged. You sometimes have the displeasure of having an employee come and grab your things while smoking. Every time we make a donation, they have items overflowing the trailer and the doors to the building have been open and it was stacked to the ceiling with stuff. But...when you go inside, it's the same stuff (bare mostly) week after week. There is never anyone at the register and when they do come, they are on their phones...
