I really wanted to have a stellar experience here, but it was very meh. The manager was nice enough. We requested our hibachi chef not wear a mask, so we could understand him and she had a chat with us about it. The chef agreed to not mask up and was phenomenal! Like so perfect it was amazing and we loved his skills. Unfortunately the waitress was the worst we have ever had. We were mixed top and some ordered sushi, some hibachi. I was thinking the sushi might get served before the grill work was done, but instead it came out after the hibachi part of our group was completely done. It only came at all because we asked for each item. Strange, we have never had to ask after multiple things like this. Can we get a soup we are missing? Can we get an appetizer we are missing? Can we get a bento box we are missing? Can we get two rolls we are missing? Pretty ridiculous for a steak house experience. The two rolls were half sized and very weak, so I am guessing the sushi chef needs training or fired because that was the source of our main issues. Manager did take the appetizer off the bill, which I was good with since they served the wrong one. All and all a very mediocre experience though. My wife wishes she would have ordered from the hibachi. Our plan was to order even more food, but after the dismal sushi rolls we got, she decided to skip out and leave still hungry. Not sure why hers was so weak because the people sitting near us got a normal sized roll. Never have we ordered a roll somewhere and gotten four pieces per roll. Normally it is six or eight, but these two rolls both fit on a small plate and comprised eight pieces total🤔. If you come here, we recommend sticking to the hibachi side...

Do NOT eat here. We never had problems here, was a favorite, no issues until this last time. Flat soda and beer. Appetizer came out when we began main course part of the meal, which we didn't end up eating due to finding HAIR in the food. Waitress didn't care, rarely came around and took way too long. We have been there when the place was beyond packed and you had to squeeze by people to get seated. It was so slow this night. We told the manager and showed her the hair. She said "there's no proof who's hair that is" it was in the food and black short hair, in which neither of us have that hair type... she could see this. I don't travel with baggies of hair, who does that? So, of course we did not eat our meal. We were being kind and politely requested them to remove our meals from our bills. (We also never ate the appetizer it came out late during meal and cold) The MANAGER laughed at us. Very unprofessional. Of course a customer will be upset if they get that sort of unprofessional treatment, right? Even though she took 20% off bill and removed drinks/app. We still paid over $60 for food we never ate. Oh besides 1 soup and 1 salad between us both. Drinks were not finished at all between a soda, mixed drink and beer. This place is a joke and they seriously need a new manager. We had no problem paying our bill, money was not the issue at all. Just save yourself the trouble, don't eat here. Don't waste your money. Has anyone tried any other hibachi grills in the area? Need a new go to Japanese Steakhouse that doesn't treat their customers poorly and are not disrespectful/unprofessional and dirty like...

I went in expeting to pay maybe $60 because that's what a friend at work had told me.(he had told me you can get a filet mignon and lobster for 2 for $50.) We ordered one of these and a teriyaki plate with the shrimp and steak. The portions were so small, there wasnt an entire 8oz. steak on both plates together the miso soup was terrible, waitress got my dressing on my salad wrong andtbe lighting made me question whether it was really ranch dressing (which I had ordered) or thousand island (which made my tomatoless salad taste like i was eating a bowl of yellow lettuce) The only good part was the appetizer (Rock Shrimp) ..which was delicious. The margarita was over priced, had very little alcohol, and was 1/3 of tbe size of the Mexican restaurant in cullman. 90 dollars to sit in a quiet dark restraunt with soul infomercials from the 70s playing on a muted tv. I felt raped.WILL...

So we met with friends (or were waiting on 2 more) party of 8. We were never sure who our server was until he brought the bill. The drinks on the bill made no sense at the end. Someone came on shift and asked we all get up and move around our table. (We're still waiting on our cook) upon seating the other side of the grill it turns out there was no reason for us to rearrange our seating to begin with. For one of our guests sushi was wrong and I had to walk across the restaurant to finally get someone to help us. This place was completely dysfunctional and uncoordinated. The food was ok and the hibachi chefs were not on point compared to most chefs I've seen at these tables. This place could be amazing with some focus on the guest not the number of ppl and the dollar 💵. Your tips and revenue will be bigger and your cooks may want to try harder.

One of my better hibachi experiences! I really like that this place will allow you to split a hibachi between 2 people for just an $8 up charge. You still get a huge portion. That is a huge selling point at this location in my opinion. All of the staff we interacted with were very accommodating and efficient. Quick drink refills. Fasted chef I’ve had as well, if that is a plus for you. Mushrooms were flavorful and broccoli was fresh. Definitely not my favorite ginger salad; it could have used way less dressing and it’s not a good ginger dressing compared to others I’ve had. BEST ONION SOUP ever though!! 😍 Steak was cooked perfectly and filet mignon is not much more expensive. Noodles were good, rice was great. I’d also recommend the spring rolls- incredibly fresh and flavorful. I’d absolutely come back.

I was somewhat disappointed with the entire experience. I sat at the bar and bottles and some of the wine glasses behind the bar looked dusty and as though they had not been washed in a long time. There was also a lot of “extra” stuff, pens papers, envelopes etc stuffed in where wine bottles should be. There was also someone who obviously worked there at the end of the bar that was literally on the phone speaking in foreign language loudly the entire time. I think they have potential but need some direction and a good cleaning and organizing of the bar area. Service was quick and friendly but the food was just a little better than marginal.
