EDIT 1/13/24 - just wanted to add a little something. I'd been experiencing some sound issues with my system that had nothing to do with the Southern Cinema's team work - one of those things that can be extremely difficult to run down, but the owner, Don stuck with me and called on his own time over a weekend and walked me through some trouble shooting that intimately solved a long standing aggravating issue. Could not be more grateful. Look forward to some possible upgrades in the near term on my 5 year old system. And it's things like that which insure I'll be calling Don and team when the time comes. Been a customer of Don and team since I built my new house in 2018. The did all the pre-wiring for distributed video and audio throughout the house. They did a great job and have serviced my system since with expansions like adding tvs etc.
For the past 2 years or so Dylan has been my technician- he is a great guy. Very knowledgeable, curtious, and professional in all his work. He's helped me out tremendously. Just this last week he and another technician, Connor (great guy and knowledgeable as well) came to the house to install and integrate an additional tv. Read more7 years ago we moved into our present home and wanted to consolidate all of our A/V devices onto 1 easy to use remote. TV, DVD, Apple TV, and one the air antenna all had their own remotes. Plus we wanted a sound system to match our new TV with theater style sound - and to be available to every device. Don and his team, especially Colin (onsite and tech guy who does installation and support) proposed and installed a Control4 system. They extended it to include control over our lighting, security system, and thermostat. It all worked, and when we have a problem (following a lightning strike, my desire to move the equipment to a closet, changes in providers from Comcast to DirecTv) Colin and his helpers do a good job making sure it all works. Read moreDo not use this company for any service. This company installed a home theater for us and up sold us on using Control 4 remotes. All was fine then one day the system would not work and the Control 4 remotes no longer functioned. I have called the office numerous times, but phone calls and call backs have been non-existent. The owner asked us to take down a review once before when they refused to come and service our system by promising, if we called the office they would send out a service tech. We took the review down only to have an empty promise go unfulfilled. We now are paying significant money to another home theater company to redo what southern cinema should have done weeks ago.
