Downview Sports Center — Attraction in Cuyahoga Falls

Both the door and website state they are open until 9pm. We arrived at 8:25pm wanting to use the batting cages. The doors were locked. A young woman with curly short redish hair and glasses came to the door. We were then told they hault all sales at 8:15pm (allegedly) a full 45 minutes before they even close. We asked desperately for only 5 minutes on the batting cages for our son and were denied, we even offered to pay more. We asked to come in and talk to the manager and the kid stuttered that she "is the manager, or acting manager right now." The time that she wasted telling us no, we could have already been done. We said exactly that to her, she did not care. She turned down easy money for the business, a manager wouldn't do this. This was just a bad worker who closed early and didn't want to get in trouble.

After we told her this was unprofessional and we walked away, she called her friends to come pick her up, 20 minutes before the business was supposed to even close.

Clearly this person just wanted to close down early and go home. She was incredibly rude and didn't care. Customers that were leaving and heard what happened told us she does this...

Came to use batting cages. Sign on the door said they closed at 9pm. It was 8:20pm. The doors were all locked and the guy working came and told us that they close at 8:15 and would not allow us to buy any tokens. We told him the sign said they closed at 9 and he said no, they close at 8:15 but “promptly” close at 9. He then asked us how many tokens we wanted and before we could answer handed us two, which we used in a matter of 10 min. I've been coming here since the late 90s for the batting cages when I played softball. Came back because my son now plays baseball. Batting cages are great and there are quite a few of them which means less lines. We also decided to do the putt putt golf too after the batting practice. Had a great time doing that too. Everything was affordable, in my opinion, for a family of 4. It cost us a total $40 ($18 for the batting cages and $22 for all of us to putt putt). The guy at the front desk was very friendly too.
