The park renovation is impressive which reopened in May 2025! I remember this park was so dated and not as inviting. But with all the new additions, resurfacing, and more, I'm sure more people will be excited to use this park. I've visited here a few times already to walk the track and get in a workout in the outdoor fitness area.
There's plenty to offer at this local park. Baseball/softball fields, batting cages, eight pickleball courts, one volleyball court, one basketball court, playgrounds for older and younger kids, a marked walking/jogging track around the park that is approximately 1/2 mile for one lap.
There's plenty of parking as well as EV charging spots. I noticed that there only few benches or seating areas available for resting or relaxing. There are also shaded bleachers next to the pickleball courts.
There are also some covered picnic tables. I will look into the details soon if it's first-come, first-served or by reservations only.
Looking forward to visiting...
Read moreI was there over the weekend because my granddaughter had a baseball game first one since she started and she asked me to go and of course I wasn't gonna miss it for the world, she is 8 years old and not only was it a nice park but also it's the memories that matter she was happy to see me there and I was happy to see her happy that's all that matters to me . The also has there own batting cages so they can practice but what mattered to me was her asking me if I could help her warm up and that right there made my day and I look forward to seeing her play again the more memories we have together the better it makes me feel to know that when she gets older and has kids of her own she will reflect back when I was there for her and that is what kids need these days is for someone to show them what life is all about ,. The park is nice and will be there when you are ready to put your kids in baseball or just take them there to have...
Read moreThey ruined the park with the new renovation. This used to be a sleepy, fresh, relaxing park with plenty of room for activities and beautiful trees. Now it's a suburban hellscape. Hot, no trees, smells like micro plastics, rubber and sweat, all the grass is gone for parking and cement. And for what? So city council could plaster their names on their very special plaque in the middle and across every field. Disgusting , we could've used that city money for better things. An hour later and I still have a burning nose and headache from all the fumes the fake fields are emitting, I thought there was research on this already. I feel bad for all the juveniles that are playing there now. And so many tennis courts and baseball fields and really....only one basketball court and no soccer fields. We know who city council wants in...
