We love the splash pad and its definitely a 5 star place for your kids to play and worth the drive from Muncie or Anderson. Please keep reading as there are some things you should know. If your child is 2 and under, there's a small area for the child to splash but the playground they can play on, unless it is extremely overcast, is likely too hot because there is no sun coverage. If your child is 3-4, there are lots of areas to splash but often times there are bigger children there that are not being watched appropriately by their parents so keep an eye out. If your child is 5 and up they can pretty much play everywhere in the splash area and there's a larger playground that is mostly covered and safe for a 5 year old. I say the above as cautionary only. Our kids enjoy going every time and it's free. Take some cash with you as there is a snow cone stand attached to the public restrooms which makes...

Daleville has a wonderful play area for kids of all ages. It has a playground that is catered to little ones as well as a larger playground for big kids. The splash pad is large and a fun place for kids to run and play. My children and I love to come here in the summer through September after the pools have closed on a hot fall day. There are several areas to put your items, as well as tables with umbrellas. Bathrooms are located on the premises along with a very nice concession stand. Their snow cones are famous at the splash pad. They are placed in cups stacked tall with soft, fluffy ice with many flavors to choose from. They also have food items and drinks. If you are looking for a safe, well maintained area for your kids to play-this is the...

This was a grand idea. And having a free place to take the kids is great. HOWEVER unless you're a fan of walking over burning coals the park area is not a fun time. What do kids want to do when they play in water? Take their shoes off. But to take your shoes off and walk at the park is like taking a stroll through the fiery pits of hell. There is no shade whatsoever. The park butts right up to a swampy pond and there is no guard rail!!! Maybe that's so when you feel as though dragons have lit your feet ablaze you can cool them in the daleville swamp water. On the plus side the radioactive moss just may give your kid superpowers, that could be fun. So for a free day of fun, fire, and superpowers...it...

This place is clear, brightly colorful and everyone was having a blast. It is well maintained . We saw trashcans being emptied and police driving by. It appears to be a safe place for children to enjoy. We have taken our grandchildren there several times in the past. We were there with our only granddaughter yesterday. We were able to sir at a table with the big teal colored umbrella. That kept the sun off us so we could stay longer. They might consider having nachos instead of chips with cheese that is bland. We will be back On August 5th for the Cook and Bell concert.

This is a great play place on a hot summer day! Daleville create a great community resource. This place is huge and definitely a great attraction for the area. If you come here you'll find a very large splash pad with almost 20 water elements, swings, a small kid playground, an amazing large kid playground, a nature area, a beautiful picnic area, multiple shade spots, a performance pavilion, and a concession stand. This is worth the drive from Muncie, Anderson, Alexandria, New Castle, or any other spot in the East Central Indiana region.

So lucky to have found this gem! A free splash pad with attached playgrounds with a concession stand, restrooms, play train, and many covered areas for shade. The playground is designed to be safe for wet and/or barefoot kids (artificial turf on the hillside, rubberized solid ground on the entire play area). The concession stand was reasonably priced and quick. My kids could have played here all day and never gotten bored
