White Castle — Restaurant in Daleville

I've made hour-long trips just to go here, and have always had great and speedy service. The last time I was passing by and stopped I ordered 6 sliders, and I got my food for free because they said there was going to be a longer wait than normal. They offered me a drink, but I didn't need one so I declined it. A little while later they handed me my food, plus added 3 of their desserts-on-a-stick since I didn't need a drink. That situation was a total shock, very much appreciated, and made a great start to my day. Kudos to the staff for their above and beyond customer satisfaction and service. (Year:2018)

Update (July 2025): a lot has changed in 7 years. The past 2 times I've gone through the drive-thru, they've immediately told me it was going to be at least a 30-minute wait to get any food. This really pisses me off because I stop here on my way home from Indy, and there are no other White Castles north of Daleville along I-69; so I have my heart set on getting White Castle, but since their service sucks I couldn't get any, nor could the 2 vehicles that pulled up behind me either. They drove off, not wanting to wait 30 minutes either. This is BS, and this needs to change! They need to figure out a better way to manage their orders.

It makes ZERO sense to make 80-100 sliders for one customer, and turn away 10 other customers because they don't want to wait 30 minutes; all that is going to do is create 10 bad reviews for poor service. They need to be able to work on large orders and small orders at the same time. If a large order shuts down your business for 30 minutes, you need new management and better training for your staff. We were driving home from Branson, Missouri. We got into Indiana around 11pm & was looking for to stop for food. Got off freeway to stop at a McDs and was told they closed at 11pm, it was 11:01pm when I was told this. Was angry, got back on the freeway, drove about 1 hour. Googled if there were any 24 hr McDs coming up ahead of us. 1 popped up, we called to confirm, it was correct. Get off freeway again, see a 24hr White Castle, contemplate going there but continue to find this McDs. Find out from my co-pilot it's 5-6 miles from freeway. I'm like oh no were not going that far into the city & I turned around and went back to this White Castle right by the freeway. Ordered 20 cheeseburgers & a sack of fries. They had to cook them fresh, but it was so worth the wait. They were so good, hot & fresh like they're suppose to be. Like I remember them from my childhood, I'm 56 now. Thank you to this White Castle for being open 24hrs, right on/off the freeway & for cooking them right. Don't change a thing. If I didn't live in Michigan I would visit this...

What a joke of a restaurant. After receiving my food through the drive through I realized some of my order was missing. The lady at the drive through argued with me and literally made me take everything out of the bag I front of her.. after realizing she was wrong they parked me. Made me wait another five minutes for the rest of my order, while the food I already had got cold.. I felt like she was making me out to be a liar by making me pull all of the food out infront of her. Then getting parked I honestly felt like it was her being spiteful for being wrong.. every time I go to this location the customer service is less than par.
