Waffle House — Restaurant in Daleville

Service was fast and accurate. I was very pleased with my Food, and experience eating at this Waffle house location. Staff was very friendly and polite. The only reason I did not give 5 stars, and only gave a rating review of 4 stars was because of this reason... I am usually Thirsty when I first arrive and sit down at a restaurant... I was quickly given my drink order of chocolate Milk, But throughout the course of eating my meal I was not asked if I'd like a Refill.. I Was eating pancakes, and had a dry mouth lol. It was very busy this particular night. So after asking twice a waitress took I over for my waiter in getting me a refill. I hate to sound so picky, or arrogant like the staff is my property to serve only me. I'm not special in any way... But when you're not asked, and you have to ask more then once. Come time to pay my bill I Don't particularly feel I should throw another $5-10 on top to someone who brought me one drink and my plate of food.. Then ignores me for 30 to 40 minutes. It actually stresses me out sometimes. But this location was clean & Friendly. And I will keep stopping at this waffle house location. Apologies for the book I wrote above lol... I just wanted to explain my position on the matter, and to clarify I am not above anybody just because they are serving me. They are owed the same respect if not more while on their shift. The people here DO NOT work together. If you're at one end and need something don't think the other end waitress will help you. She won't even look over here. 20 minutes to get waited on. Nobody even looked up or said hi when I sat down. Felt invisible. In the meantime, the cook must be new....30 more minutes to get food. The server was nice but very slow and just....well he must have been new too. Idk I'm thankful people are coming to work, but the quality of service is just sad. He absolutely could've said, I'm new bear with me but he barely even spoke to me. I got the wrong toast... white instead of wheat....no biggie but he let it get cold before he even buttered it....that was pretty gross when it was serves. The coffee was cold. I'm just overall pretty disappointed here. Hope these guys get some training and do better. Don't worry, I still left a tip but don't feel like any of them actually...

Ayja ruined the experience, he was RUDE to the other employees and very condescending. He talked to them like they were stupid the whole time I was there. The waitresses were fantastic. She told him my order correctly, but he said she was wrong and then he made the wrong food. I wasn't upset about it being wrong. I was upset that he blamed her for it, I said she told him right and he got visibly mad, and gaslit everyone. These waitresses deserve better and to feel safe at work. I felt so bad for them I was shaking. Food was great though and they took off the stuff I didn't get no problem. I'm really not trying to start more issues for the ladies by calling him out, but he doesn't need to be acting like that in front...
