I went to my first “closing reception” at the art gallery and it was even better than I expected — I was so impressed. Daisha has managed to curate an intimate art experience for the culture, something I’ve never experienced.
The DJ was dope, there were complimentary drinks, you could meet-and-greet with the featured artist, and there was a QR code to tell the stories of all the pieces.
The space is a little small, so we only spent about 30-40min there (but I know this will grow over time — it’s that’s good).
Lastly, Daisha is a great host. She was super sweet, welcoming, and she looked amazing.

Read moreThis is an amazing gallery - in the heart of West Dallas - highlighting artists of color in the most beautiful way. On our stop we saw amazing works from black American, Latino, and African artists from all over the globe. A couple of the artists were there to greet us chat, and the gallery owner was also there - present, engaging, and friendly. This space is awesome for people who are just beginning to seek or view art and for major collectors looking to buy the next addition to their collections. Read more🎨👩🏾🎨We were notified of the grand opening while at Soiree brunch when Daisha walked in, looking sharp 💁🏾♀️ may I say, handing out flyers for the grand opening featuring the pop artist Geralde Bell. She mentioned it's the first woman blacked owned ♀️ 🖤 gallery to open in Dallas in decades 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾. The gallery feels intimate and has a good flow for moseying around. Daisha greeted everyone and often provided interesting tidbits about specific pieces they were viewing. She also had a DJ and wine & beer 🍷🍻 to provide a fun and lively atmosphere.
