City Inn & Suites — Hotel in Dallas

My 2 young sons and I drove from New Boston Texas during spring break to Dallas to go to the Perot Museum and Dallas Zoo. We wanted a room close to the Dallas Zoo for one night. Upon arrival, the Owner told me $70 for a night. But NO debit card or credit card. He told me to go down the road to a gas station and go to the atm and come back with cash. Pointed to a sign inside that said CASH ONLY

So I went to ATM, which is hard to get to and from considering the Massive Construction in this area. Came back... Handed him $70 after waiting 10 mins As a security guard walking around the premises had to go wake the Owner up..... Only to be told NO, as No PETS ALLOWED Pleae Do not go here, unless you have no pets and nothing else is...

This place has hired the absolute worst employees. In my opinion, this business should close its doors. I'm from Michigan and was looking for a hotel in Dallas to book a stay. I called 10 times in a three hour period, started around 6:30pm but never got an answer. Just rang for five minutes straight before disconnect. My final call was around 9:30 pm and someone picked up this time but said nothing. After I said hello several times the phone just hung up in my face. I uploaded the screenshots of my unanswered calls. They certainly won't earn my business now. Terrible....

Because I was 5 minutes late of getting out of the room , the short office person proceeded to open my door and I had informed him I was putting my shirt on and they still didn't care and tried to open it while I was changing my clothes then wanted to call the police because I wouldn't let him open the door while I was trying to get dressed..

the type of people who run this place are ignorant.

Outrageously priced, bad cigarette smell, rooms were not 100% clean. And let this fool open my door again at another establishment and I will punch...
