I must be honest about this review. My lunch there on this occasion is more about a childhood comfort food than anything else. Growing up in the 70s the one thing i remember most about "Jack-in-the-Crack" was how glmuch I enjoyed thier cheap tacos. In the day, they were like ¢19 each and as a family my parents would order what seemed like 100 tacos. I enjoyed them then, and I still do. But here's the 5 star review. I am not sure what type of meat is in them, if its meat at all. They are WAY too greasy, have so little lettuce and other veggies that it barely makes a difference. The shells many times are only crunchy at the opening. The rest is chewy. But I still love them. So first, you take the taco and place it between 2 stacks of napkins and press all the grease out. Just a quick and light pressing, no major effort needed. Once the excess is pressed out, its ready to enjoy. Just try not to think too much about the grease or what the meat could be. Not to worry you, but in the 70s, before they blew up the clown as part of a brand relaunch, they got caught serving kangaroo meat at some locations. The rebranding was needed after that little tarnish to the brand. Maybe try a piece of their cheese cake afterwards to take your mind off the thought that always pops into my head, "I wonder how many years I just took...
Read moreIt happened couple of times I went to buy the food drive through and Hispanic guy who is wearing a glasses give me breakfast meal when I asked him to give me combo and it was few mints after 11pm. My question is who eats breakfast during mid night. Normally whenever you go drive through during the night you have to wait minimum half and hour because they are working very slow. Last night around 11;23pm when I asked for sandwich same guy asked me “ Do you want me to give you breakfast? I thought let me go front and place the order so he can hear better but when I reached to front window he refused to serve me saying “ one more person behind you his food is ready you didn’t order so I will not serve you. I asked take my order I will make a U turn but he refused. I asked him if he can tell me what kind of beef sandwich they’re serving since he always asking me if I want breakfast he said I don’t know go back and check the menu I will not tell you, he said if you’re not wearing your glasses it’s not my problem” no one ever rude to me before he also said this is not our company policy we will serve you when other person food is ready. Incident happened 06/17/24 close to 11:30 pm I wish one of the manger can read this review and teach some discipline...
Read moreThe window guy julio (is the name on the receipt) was very rude from the start. Rushing me wile I was ordering for my family of 4 kids and my lovely wife. Then its went from bad to worse. When we arrived at the window he grabbed my card with and attitude and when he gave it back he didn't even look out the window just stuck his hand out so I can grab it. Witch he didn't reach at all where I had to almost come out of my window to grab it. Some fries where forgotten so I had to wait for him to get back at the window because I didn't notice he had closed it. When he finally came back i told him about the missing fries and 1 more straw. I had 5 meals and a shake. I think I should have 6 straws for 5 drinks and a shake, well I never got the straw because he slammed the window with and attitude. I went around to talk to a manager on shift I was told there was non that night. But the older lady that was there whom I explained to what happen all she said was close the window softer and the kid just walk to the back after that. Personally I don't think any disciplinary action is going to take place for...
