Joyce Florist of Dallas — Attraction in Dallas

I do not recommend this company. My long distance military S/O was recommended this company by my colleague, and had ordered flowers from another state 2 weeks prior to valentines day 2024 so that they would be delivered to my job on valentine's day. My coworker's bouquet (also pre-ordered from Joyce and was delivered with mine and both orders were incorrect). When I sent my s/o the photo of my flowers, he quickly noted they weren't the flowers he purchased and sent me a photo. I called the company to inform them of the issue. They sent a second replacement order of arrangments which were also incorrect. (Mind you my co-worker 2nd replacement order was also incorrect.)

Ultimately, we requested to have the bouquets we ordered and paid for delivered. Instead of facilitating our request, the delivery person informed us that she would be contacting the manager. To add insult to injury, the police were called on us and we were victimized and improperly questioned by the police at our workplace. The driver allegedly insinuated they were trying to steal flowers and the police were contacted on her behalf.

My entire valentine's day experience was not only ruined, but I was also traumatized by the entire experience.

My S/o was mortified to hear what happened and called in attempt to obtain a refund. My S/O received his refund the next day, when the company came and picked up the flowers. I myself did not receive a formal apology. What I did experience was: embarrassment, racial profiling, and a wrongful accusation of theft of my own order. I am highly respected by hospital administration, doctors and my colleagues and this was a very traumatic experience. It was very degrading, embarrassing and heart breaking. I ordered my own flowers for Valentines day 2024 two weeks prior to the actual day. I had them delivered to my job (local hospital/nurses station). When they arrived I immediately noticed it was not what I ordered (my order was supposed to be 9 large roses, this one only had 3 large roses). My coworker (also ordered from Joyce was delivered with mine and her order was also incorrect). We called Joyce's and they sent out two more arrangements that were also wrong. When we asked for a resolution requesting what we actually ordered and paid for, the police was called on us! Long story short the owner later called and apologized as a temp employee misunderstood the situation and thought we were trying to steal the flowers, so she called the police for the delivery driver. The owner said it was a misunderstanding and offered me an upgrade on my next order. I informed her that I still only had 3 roses and wanted the 9 that I paid for, so she had them re delivered. Although the owner was apologetic there is something about the police being called on me at my job where I am highly respected by hospital administration, doctors and my colleagues that doesn't sit right in my spirit. It was degrading and very embarrassing. I will never order from this establishment again.

This place goes above and beyond! I live out of state. Through a mixup, flowers I had ordered at another place for a funeral service was over 3 hours away from the actual service location. In a panic, I searched and found Joyce Florist of Dallas on the internet and made a desperate call for new flowers. The desperation came because there were 20 minutes left before the service was to start - Yikes! Not only did they calm me down, assure me they could help because they were close to the service location, they filled my order and raced it over in time for the service. As if that wasn’t impressive enough, they called me back to let me know the flowers made it on time (whew). The driver, Mr. C, went even further: he delivered the flowers and stepped in to help with carrying the casket when it was needed. I cried with gratitude when they told me what they had done on such sort notice (20 minutes people!) and that they showed so much care and compassion for me and my family members.
