Mockingbird Central Plaza — Attraction in Dallas

The shops at Mockingbird have a great atmosphere although these aren't stores that I would shop at. I love the Starbucks and the Aveda boutique is really well laid out.

The real draw is the amazing DART rail station beneath the central plaza. Almost every DART rail line stops at this station, making it so easy to get almost anywhere in Dallas or the suburbs, including DFW International. I drive here M-F to take the train to my office in Richardson.

This is an absolutely wonderful place to go and enjoy some Great entertainment! You can never go wrong going to a show here, they have good food to enjoy while watching this show an absolutely wonderful waiters and waitresses. The owner, is one of the sweetest people you will ever meet and loves to see everyone they're having fun. I can't recommend it enough, especially being the last of its kind in Dallas. Went to Pocket Sandwich Theater to see a musical group. The music was om, could have been much better had they had a better sound system, someone to run it and if the horn section had been in tune. Food was ok..not wonderful, just ok. Having said all that, we had a wonderful time. It's a warm, friendly place with a welcome atmosphere. Great place for meeting up with friends. They have only a beer and wine permit so don't expect bar drinks. It is small, would suggest you check for available space and purchase...
